Breakfast
Can anyone recommend a packet cereal where the last 20% isn't an inedible powder?

Shredded Wheat
The king of cereals.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 9:45, Reply)
Shredded Wheat is repulsive
Kellogg's Just Right is pretty nice and doesn't turn to powder particularly
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 9:48, Reply)
I can accept a dislike of Shredded Wheat
but Just Right is definitely for girls!

Bakers Complete.
It's awesome. Sets you right up for the day.
EDIT: Powder-free and delicious.

Frankfurters.
Breakfast of champions.

Just Right is half price in Sainsburys at the moment
therefore it is the choice of the discerning shopper
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 10:43, Reply)
If you have Ricicles
the powder is quite edible as it's just sugary goodness really. You could put it in your coffee.

In answer to your question...
...no, I can't.

So have a bacon roll instead.

Half price in Sainsburys makes it the normal price of everywhere else. Posh bastard.

Sainsburys isn't expensive
in direct comparison, my weekly shopping costs slightly more in Tesco.

plus Sainsburys is much much closer to my house.

and not full of fucking peasants scumbags ;-)

Just Right is about a quid :-P

Asda wins for cheapness
And watching the fat chavs fight over the reduced section is always entertaining.

And if you happen to be there late at night the bread is 10p. That's now less than a Freddo!
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 11:10, Reply)
ASDA makes me uncomfortable
I suspect the other shoppers of fingering the merchandise without buying it, and I don't want to know where their fingers have been.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 11:12, Reply)
If you watch them for more than 17 seconds
you can see where their fingers have been and I agree, it's not pleasant. That's why I boil everything before eating it. Including the 10p bread. Actually, ESPECIALLY the 10p bread.

There is only one answer to this

Kellogs Start - breakfast of champions.

That or steak, devilled kidneys and eggs.

You can't go wrong with a big bowl of porridge in the winter mornings.
Sets you up for the day and good for warming your hands on the bowl in a freezing cold office.
