BLIZZARD! BLIIIZZAAARD!!!
It's absolutely hooning down here. Half an inch in the last 30 minutes, easy. People who were joking about closing the office then are now seriously asking about it. How's your weather?
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 10:47, 76 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Sunny.
A bit chilli though.
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 10:47, Reply)

Baked potato van
would that be the delightful Phat Pasty then, Chomp? I use their buffet service when I have people in - really good value....

(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:01, Reply)
I'm doing working-ly
That can be taken to mean 'work is rubbish, and not going too well. Mostly because I keep sitting watching the Gilmore Girls instead.'

All well with you?
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:03, Reply)
Working-ly - I like that!
Hahaha what is this obsession with the Gilmore Girls on B3ta... am I missing out?

I am indeed at work, I was at work last week too - I ran out of holiday to book off Christmas (boo). So far there is no snow, according to the weather gnomes the snow will hit from about 2.00pm and probably won't stop until Saturday - Good times are clearly ahead! :S
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:20, Reply)
Sounds good
As long as I can make it back to uni to hand in my essay on Monday. It's taken far too long to write to not be handed in now.
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:22, Reply)
Haha
I'm sure you'll make it. If the snow gets that bad I'm sure you could ski or snowboard your way over!
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:28, Reply)
I am about 80 miles away just now
It would be quite the ski. Plus I need to go North, and everyone knows that means going uphill...

I have to drive carefully to work but I do get here come hell or high water. We had no water at work yesterday but we still soldiered on.

I was stuck behind a pillock early this morning driving at 15 miles an hour in second gear like the snow was 3 feet deep.

(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:18, Reply)
me and my dad could not get table salt ANYWHERE on Christmas eve.
We had to get flakes and convince my mum they were better for walking on.
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:19, Reply)
here they just closed some roads
to save grit. One was mine :( To be fair, though it is like a bobsleigh run when it's icy

Lovely day here
About 25° too cold for my liking, but it's clear and sunny.

No snow overnight, so I managed to get to work without having to dig my car out again. I'm getting right fed up with it. My car's not that good in snow, and I have spent far too much time with a shovel recently.
(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 11:16, Reply)
I'm in salford quays
and we have a foot+ of snow. Other than that, it's quite nice.
