You adopted the badge?

I might just wear it in real life
but not at work, or anywhere near said toygeek

I'm sure we can get someone to make you a sharking badge
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:40, Reply)
I made a moral decision
EDIT: I mean I don't go near ANYONE but my bf anymore ¬_¬

and I might feel a bit bad about sharking freshers. Innocent little eighteen year olds
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:45, Reply)
You may as well get there first

corrupt them entirely, possibly buy them some pangos
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:48, Reply)
I'll be gentle with them. I'm far more cut out for the being nice and friendly, than sharking them sadly :(
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:51, Reply)
If I estimate everyone high to start with, it's just easier in the long run. You're well on your way down now though.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:54, Reply)
could testify I'm not the sharking sort
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:56, Reply)
And I've not met any of them. Judging shall therefore continue on my own estimations.

sold at Hertford college. I think they legally have to sell them in two different glasses now. Loads of different alcohol (archers, vodka, gin and something else- about eight shots worth) layered with fruit juice and topped up with juice. Tastes like fruit juice at the beginning and pure sin at the bottom, but you don't notice the transition. Most I've ever managed is two

you're given college parents. The year above that who are the college parents of your college parents are your grandparents

No idea who the other one is. Might be the same guy, college marriages can get a bit like Norfolk sometimes

was the college brother and sister who were balloted together in second year
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:01, Reply)
was his ACTUAL brother who went to a different college, not his college brother who spent a lot of time in his room

oops. I'll make it up with the grandkids.

I forgot to get carnations (non-oxford people: carnations are traditionally worn for exams, white for the first, pink for the ones in the middle, red for the last), and my general response to being asked to help with some work by my physics kid was "I don't know it either!"
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:07, Reply)
but I was under stress most of the year, and they did none of the same modules so I couldn't pass on work

he was hot, and it didn't actually go anywhere, because we both sort of realised we had people still loosely attached
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:54, Reply)
But I know a couple of people in my year at school who haven't had a boyfriend or girlfriend yet.

I totally need to find gold stilettoes
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:36, Reply)
I've only had a brief fling with one older man.
During that time I was married to a younger man (we'd split up by the time of the fling), had another flingette with another younger man, an 'almost' relationship with a chap ten years younger and now finally am with PJM who is younger too.
Can't be doing with older men - too much baggage.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:22, Reply)
We need to get BGB onto this!
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:23, Reply)
Isn't that what normally happens, or have things changed that much on here?
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:48, Reply)
The whole Poppet grooming episode? That was creepy.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:51, Reply)
who said what where when and why?
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:08, Reply)
unless you're talking about that argument I had with Al, Becky and that lot for picking on Poppet ages ago, but that had nothing to do with grooming or creepiness?
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:11, Reply)
but I'm glad the memory is still so clear in your mind
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:14, Reply)
I only act at being creepy, and Poppet's my mate, I wouldn't go getting all pervy on her arse
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:26, Reply)
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:34, Reply)
are you serious?
That's extremely creepy and weird, why would he do that and then come on here and bring it up again?
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:54, Reply)
I have no idea, maybe he has selective memory loss. I just texted Lab to confirm that I wasn't imagining it.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:58, Reply)
I was going to look back but couldn't be bothered trawling through it all.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:01, Reply)
but I have no idea what to search for, maybe keywords like 'Dok' 'creepy' 'grooming' 'pervert' and 'rapist'

I haven't read all of it yet...

now I'm upset because Poppet said something about someone going too far, and called it 'Bertesque', but I don't know what she was referring to
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:15, Reply)
it's just that my own memory is pretty poor. I didn't like Dok before, but now I'm positively revulsed by his presence.
...and you know that coming from me, that's pretty bad.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:04, Reply)
I'm shocked and disgusted, I wasn't even aware that this place still existed without me
EDIT and I think Becky's referring to the second one, it definitely seemed a bit seedy to me

(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:30, Reply)
I'm just a little bit shocked, and I want somebody else to get really fucking angry with the dirty old bastard, because if I do it'll be far too hypocritical
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:32, Reply)
Yeah that'll really help. I'm just annoyed at Dok's implication that he's not someone who was essentially grooming a 17 year old and he's disgusted with those who were.
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:35, Reply)
ah, just saw your edit. I was thinking that too, it was like he was blaming the creepiness on other people?
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:36, Reply)
I wouldn't get upset about stuff. I didn't like Dok before, but this has given me good reason to absolutely detest that he breathes the same air as the rest of us
(, Fri 23 Jul 2010, 0:42, Reply)
But will let the Dok continue incase I'm wrong.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:58, Reply)
It was way creepy, well the responses were.
EDIT And not from her.

(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 22:57, Reply)
That the whole of Fife is just one big mental hospital, don't you? Presume you don't have any more daytrips up my way planned?

(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:10, Reply)
The main one being unemployment and lack of money. The second being being worried that people wouldn't like me. Both major issues, I think you'll agree.
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:19, Reply)
is a big one definitely. But as to the second one, I'm sure people would. Taking the risk often pays off in renewed self confidence. I'm not saying I'd have been happy, if people thought I was a cunt after they met me, but I certainly don't think that would happen to you
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:21, Reply)
Unfortunately it requires effort on my part, someone needs to have one in Oxford during termtime to minimise this
(, Thu 22 Jul 2010, 23:22, Reply)
You better let me know if you're going to be up this way. I missed meeting the last group of b3tans up this way at the Edin-bash due to alternative plans that then turned into rather severe illness.
