What did everyone think of John Stewarts Rally for sanity.

I thought it was very good, not enough is said to/about the sensible and moderate majority in both English and American politics.

The student probably shouldn't have been awarded it, but usually deans have the final say in appeals, which is the issue here.

Mind you, both the exam and coursework are odd things to have to complete for a PhD.

But the lecturer has violated student confidentiality so his suspension is defensible if harsh.

What are you having hypnotherapy about, bobs?
I did it when I was 12 to help me with my phobia of needles; me having to have quite a lot of them. It didn't cure me, should a cure be the right word, but it sure did help quite dramaticly.

I want to give Akupuncture a shot, but not sure if I trust some back-street chinese herbal place to insert things into me.

There are MP3s and Apps floating around the internet that'll let you do a home-hipnosis, and they do _something_, donno what, it's not a fix, but they do help.

Good luck on sorting it out though, I could do with a bit of what you're doing too, except instead of weed, maybe the fags or the opiets.

I get all my news from The Metro in the morning and Evening Standard in the evening.
I figure if they both provide me with information inside an hour timeframe that keeps me up to date on the world news that they both say are important. If they don't tell me something, in this respect, that I'm sure I don't really need to know about it.

Yup, all went fabulously.

I mean, millions of people marched against the war in Iraq. I was among them. What did it do ? Nothing.

Direct action is the only way to change anything. That doesn't have to mean violence, a general strike the next working day after the anti-war marches and we'd probably not have gone to war.
