I have one because I bought it off a mate who was moving and had to sell it
It's not what I would have gone for if I'd bought a new one, but it does the job alright
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:20, archived)
I will be able to kick your arse on MariKart in 37"
rather than the 20 I have now

Nah
It just means you'll be able to see even more of my dust
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:27, archived)
My Sony one has been LOVELY
and they're not that dear any more either.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:13, archived)

I'm looking at LG, Samsung or Sony
maybe even Panasonic
I'm looking at 37" at around 600 quid
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:16, archived)

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:25, archived)
Exactly

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:28, archived)
I had the same situation,
it was weird not having to squint to read stuff anymore.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:25, archived)
I'm hijacking this thread too, don't mind me
anybody got inDesign CS3 or 4 who'd be willing to do me a massive favour?
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:06, archived)
I CAN HELP

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:07, archived)
But can you though?
I really do need help very badly. In a thoroughly non-mental way
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:09, archived)
Possibly
See gaz for more info.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:11, archived)
Ta lovely Broadsword

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:12, archived)

so I'm guessing I haven't got them.

You have, I've seen them.

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:09, archived)

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:10, archived)
THATS NO HELP

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:10, archived)
It might be, depending on your time constraints.
And what you need doing.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:11, archived)
I need things tonight, you see
Not to worry, I'll sort it somehow
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:12, archived)

my nephew wants to see james bond
he's only 6 bless him
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:09, archived)
see now
I don't think it's that far off being suitable.

Age ratings exist for a reason though I guess :(
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:10, archived)
yes they do
and it always really annoyed me when parents would get films and games out for kids that were totally unsuitable for their age.

It's actually less bad before the age of 8, after that they have a better idea of reality as opposed to fiction, but also how therefor the fiction might become reality if you see what I mean.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:22, archived)
Just tell him it's rubbish

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:18, archived)
Will be going to see my daughter
thank you for asking.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:10, archived)
Football
and food and helping with homework and buying logs for the fire and Monopoly and Frustration and Chess and...

The usual stuff.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:12, archived)
Among other things, listening to the La Monte Young boxset I ZOMGdownloaded the other day.

(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:13, archived)
Work on saturday.
Reinstalling nonamescript on sunday.

As little as possible otherwise.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:14, archived)
I hope
to be going to an antenatal class

or Birth Preparation Workshop as they now call 'em.

Katherine has an hour of swimming lessons, so she'll be all tired out and quiet

Sunday, I haven't decided yet.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:17, archived)
I was really keen to go to them the first time
But they were rubbish.

I got asked if I thought it was a mans job to help feed the baby?

Oh, and if I thought that eating a curry would cause "bad breast milk".
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:21, archived)
this one
is only 2 hours long, and is more focused on home birth info and stuff rather than the rest of the nonsense.

I'm only going to find out what's changed in the last 9 years.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:23, archived)
Ah
they still come out of the same hole.

Good luck.
(, Thu 6 Nov 2008, 20:27, archived)
there is that!
same as it has been for centuries :)

It's also because I'm planning a home birth, so the more midwives I can meet before hand, the happier I'll be. So far they've been 100% lovely!
