Hmm, a quick precis
1: Clay posted a picture
2: HappyToast liked the picture, and suggested Clay resize it to 400px wide as it was 4 pixels too wide for the FP. I highly doubt this was meant as a serious dig. HT also said something about Clay being obstinate, in reference to Clay refusing to resize for the FP in the past. I highly doubt this was meant as a serious dig.
3: Clay took offense and after a fun-filled few minutes accused HT of trolling him.
4: A mod came along and edited one of Clay's posts, and then edited it back again.
5: Clay emailed Rob demanding his account be wiped and saying that mods editing random posters' posts is beyond the pale.
6: Clay posted his email to Rob, and Rob's reply, in a thread just below. Then Clay's profile was deleted, as was the thread with Rob's reply.
7: Fun and games were had by all.
8: If you talk about the murkier side of B3ta you'll quickly find that the b3ta Stazi will be onto you, watching every single Like and Ignore you click. Then they'll edit your posts. And then when you complain it'll be like you never even existed. Be scared. Be very scared.

It was a great multi-layered prank.
He was out of town with his band so I took the opportunity to mess with him a bit.
I got loads of balloons and put them on his bed so when he came home he said "ahaha that's not even a prank, that's just awesome".
He sat on his bed and felt the tinfoil, laughed again and took it off.
Later when he went to bed he went to go to sleep and realised his pillows were wrapped in tinfoil inside the pillowcases which was the real prank bit.
He got me back by individually wrapping all my teabags with the tinfoil from his bed.

Ah yes, I remember hearing about that a few years ago. I must watch it. But from the wiki entry, I think it may have suffered from being ahead of its time when it comes to dark comic adaptations. Much like Dick Tracy.

It's not too bad to be honest.
I think in terms of being a dark comic adaptation, I think this film kicked that off, although I imagine it was WAY ahead of its time, being out in the early 90s and all.
