When I first moved here I asked what they were
and my wife told me they were robins. I had a Kramer moment, telling her very patiently that she was mistaken and making a total twat of myself.

You were completely correct, look at the little fucks. They're not robins.
They're Thrush in red jumpers. Who the hell do they think they are?

Aw, sweet little things.
I saw lots in Arizona, never seen them in NJ, although someone told me recently they've seen them in someone's yard here. Where were your pics taken? You have some interesting paper things on your flickr.

just west of Denver, Colorado. Two hummingbirds visited my patio a few weeks ago. I think they were migrating to Central America.

Ahahahahahaha, whenever I see a picture of yours like this I expect it to be vibrating.
And expecting it to vibrate tricks my mind into thinking it IS vibrating so I go through several painful moments working out what the fuck is going on.

That's happened to me too.
I've loaded static versions of an animation by mistake, and it's taken me a while to be certain it's not moving.

I used to go fishing when I was a kid.
One time a robin made friends with me. The secret was to allow it to steal as many maggots as it wanted.
