# Would you like me to zap 'em?
(maybe you should replace the images or fiddle with your htacces if you can do that)

# I'll need to
work something out to stop people using stuff.

# I dunno,
I know you can add code to the access bit, but I don't know how.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:45, archived)
# seriously
you should demand money - you're an artist, you need to be paid for your art.

And find someone to teach you that protecty-images-y thing.

# I don;t think
reasonable argument will work.

# Did you see the stuff about the law on plagiarising digital artworks?
There is no law.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:52, archived)

but there bloody should be.

# Have you moved into tech support for artists?
and is there a fee?
:)

# you should use a large watermark
for your on-line images and offer to sell un-tagged copies - sort of like what corbis do.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:51, archived)
# I had thought of that,
I had also thought of of cutting the picture into four and sticking it together in a table.
But that's far too much hassle.

more of a tubgirl type reply. Goatse is so passé.

living in the countryside does that to you. We're still laughing about a woman golfer who's kissing a trophy that looks like a willy.

as the being arsey about it when they're bang to rights.

(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:45, archived)
# now you've asked them nicely though
and they are still being twunts, it's acceptable to want to see their entrails wrapped around their throats.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:51, archived)
# yeah.
if it wasn't for spotty teenagers and peados the internet would be a much nicer (and quieter) place.

# Threadjack!
Some nice source pics on the BBC news website:

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/photo_gallery/3131217.stm

I'd do something with them meself, but I don't have a computer.

have you sent it to bruce's site?
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:46, archived)
# Nah,
not yet.
I don't to come off looking like some sad fanboy...
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:49, archived)
# The solution is quite simple.
1. Replace the content of the linked image (he he)

2. Publicise this fact to the likes of Slashdot and wait for them to drown.

3. That is all.

4. You ain't seen me, right?
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:50, archived)
# thieving gypsy bastards!
You're being very mellow about it I must say. I'd temporarily edit the image to include some nasty comment about them - I realise if it's used elsewhere you'nt exactly change it to goatse or anything.

Someone here must be able to m3ss3ng3r you the way to block their access, a lot of people mentioned that..? Hassle but worth it. Or we could all just leach their bandwidth, but it looks like their site's so poor it's hosted for free...
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:51, archived)
# dood
Take anti-leech measures.

I'm sure theres a way to send a certain picture to a certain domain
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:52, archived)
# cant you replace the image with something bad til they change it cos they're hotlinking off your site
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:58, archived)
# I don't want to do that,
cos they'll just keep changing the image they use.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 11:59, archived)
# Well, they'd get the message fast enough
Especially if the forum admins (who can change it) aren't there, you could have a wee 'message' displayed for a good few hours.

And I said Hi in the topic, as I'm reg'd with Ezboard already.
