# that is class,sir.
I like it very much.

Can I threadtangent™ for second to make an observation re this week's compo?

The comp (as written) relates to board games and playground games... but half the entries relate to arcade/console/PC games. I'm not dissing the quality of the entries, but are we seeing the evidence of the generation that grew up entirely by the light of the cathode ray tube?

ok...drunken 30-something rant over.
(, Fri 12 Mar 2004, 23:49, archived)
# I think it may be because
of how the challenge is worded. It talks spefficly about computer games being made in to movies.
(, Fri 12 Mar 2004, 23:53, archived)
# and it says...
"The rubbish films made of computer games oozing out of Hollywood set us thinking. Surely we can come up with even worse films based on the playground and board games we used to play?"

Haven't the CRT generation got the attention span to read to the end? Jesus. Do we need an advert break in the middle of the sentence or something?
