This is exactly
how I remember GMOS looking when I last met him.

not at all. Just not been around as much
due to having to build two new PCs and all the hassle of losing shitloads of stuff that goes with it.

It's cheap as chips right now.
Just built a dual core AMD 3800+ and a DC 4200+ and still not spent half of what I spent building my first Pentium 2 350 in 1997.

I'm prob going to go as fast a CPU as I can afford
At the moment I'm looking at an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 with minimum of 2gb ram - as for mainboard not a clue. If I knew what I was doing I'd be fucking dangerous. :P

We should have a chat in private some time later.
Nothing wrong with an intel core duo but unless you can afford the best you will get more bang for your buck with an AMD and that way you can spend more money on a shithot PCIe GPU.
I'll catch hold of you later. Work out an absolute budget ( and what you require less the bits you are keeping, drives etc. ) and I'll tell you exactly what I would spend the cash on if it were for me.

What I don't get is why these people don't have more boats.

I've got two inflateable
life rafts which I forgot about. and a RIB ( rigid inflatable boat )
Now I come to think of it. Perhaps I should have been in the Midlands rescuing people rather than drinking beer and talking shite on the internet?
Nah, fuck 'em.

We're a little bit south of Gloucestershire, but because we're in the same BBC area, it's all over the news here. Gaah!
Still, better than the eternal "We're hosting T4 on the Beach and showing the world how well we can do concerts. Please come here again because we don't have any tourist income anymore."
