work's really busy, but it means I dont have much time to come on board, which means I feel less guilty about not doing any work. I feel the need to make animations, but just dont have time. :(

we like 'em under 250k here, so i reckon
(i) optimise it further - fewer colours, lossy gif if you can do it (you can always link to a better quality version)
(ii) physically smaller'll help with the file size
(iii) that background moving about is doing you no favours. it'll probably be quite a bit smaller if you fix that
