Maybe I need to include topical wit instead of stupid crap.

they'll pick it up tomorrow and I'll no doubt get a response fairly quickly. Thanks for the list of other people affected - it is 'useful'

but some would say the "of" is redundant and disrupts the flow of the sentence.

"from" would be more correct
"taken off b3ta.com without permission" would be even better, although that raises the issues of the internet being public domain.
in fairness, from the articles i've seen posted on here they always reference b3ta, and
often reference the posters, so the problem's not the same as it was with emap/bauer since they went out of their way to remove the tags etc.
EDIT: wait a minute, what the fuck am i doing playing devil's advocate to the scum??? fuck em up!!!!

We'd be no better than the Americans
There are conventions in written English which are followed for a reason by a, sadly, diminishing minority. In a matter such as this, it is more effective to use proper English than colloquial English.
Now get the fuck offa my land you damn yankeee varmint

it's like complaining that a radio station played your bootleg remix.

And I think the main concern was that someone else was getting money and prizes for sending in those bootlegs. Even DJs gots to gets paid.

but where did the b3tards steal their source images from?
It's a different situation when a completely original work is taken and used for commercial gain without permission, but most of the pictures in the sun were photoshops of stock images/stuff found on the net.
If you don't own the original picture you are shopping, then it's a bit hypocritical to accuse the Sun of stealing your work.
Did you ask the Sun if you could use their logo for your picture there?

we all get upset when Prince says we can't use his image in our photoshops, but get all angry when somebody else uses our pictures.

However, when commercial usage comes into it, then the issue gets pretty muddy.
As far as I see, in this case no-one from B3TA set out to make financial gain from their images.
But The Sun is maximising its profit by using free images.
The Sun's ratecard for a full colour page advert is over £55,000.
The paper rakes in over £1.7 Million in cover price on a Saturday.
Obviously, they buy in editorial images and pay their journalists.
But they are getting in editorial on the cheap AND they claim copyright on the images on their website.
It's something that can't just be ignored.
