Hello! :D
I mean't to ask you this but forgot:
Do you have a branch of your family called D'Attoma?
(DixipoosBye Bye Blackbird,

not as far as I know, why?
I know we have one branch who think they're related to the Queen and another branch who are part of the Wilkinson sword family, but I've not heard of any D'Attomas.
The Sellick's hail from Cornwall originally I here, if that helps?

Hmm, yeh it helps by ruling out who I think you are related to
You bear an extremely striking resemblence to a mate of mine - right down to the accent.

haha i wish I had a tenner for every time someone tells me those exact words.
I'm beginning to think that there's a factory somewhere in Western surrey cloning me...

What was it then boarding?
I know you had to pay anyway, and to be honest I'm fairly vague on where public school ends and begins.

Had it a few weeks now, and trying to steal times to get away and use it a bit
quite enjoying the cack-handed attempts at photography, and learning a fair bit every time. This appears to have been my best shot to date..

And if you say "A White Hole" I will slap you.
edit: Jesus shitting christ, that's an amazing pic. *folds arms and sticks out bottom lip* Not fair. I want to make pretty pics too.

Sony Alpha 350
I was very lucky to 'inherit' a load of good quality Minolta lenses from a 35mm bod who emigrated to Spain a few years ago. never had the heart to sell them, and then found out the Sony Alpha range take the minolta lenses. So have a half decent 'starter' SLR with around 9 decent lenses, plus the standard kit lens that came with it. /+ lots of other varied pieces of equipment he gave me before leaving. I have two cracking flash guns here, but have no idea if I can get adapters so that they will fit the sony body
I'm having lots of trial and error shots, as I've never used a full on SLR before - so all the 'best of a bad bunch' efforts can be seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/simonpegg1976/

Got back today to discover someone had parked right across the driveway, despite there being loads of other places to park. Clive who runs the garage opposite suggested we block them in, so we did. Guess what happened next...
No, she came back, got in the car to get something from the glove compartment, and then walked off again, WITHOUT EVEN NOTICING!!!
There, told you it was going to be a let down.
We then had a conversation something like this:
Me: Excuse me? Her: Yes? Me: Is that your car? Her: Yes. Me: I couldn't help noticing you've been blocked in. Why would someone want to do a nasty thing like that, do you think? Her (slightly embarrassed): Because I parked across their driveway?
I just knew it would be a woman when I saw the picture. I don't know if this is terribly sexist, or just that women are more likely to drive little silver/grey hatchbacks. edit: the old Volvo estate in my back yard screamed "fat old builder" at me, and he was.

cars do reflect their owners, it's true.
I was fully expecting her to be a woman, and she was.
