I was very lucky to 'inherit' a load of good quality Minolta lenses from a 35mm bod who emigrated to Spain a few years ago. never had the heart to sell them, and then found out the Sony Alpha range take the minolta lenses.
So have a half decent 'starter' SLR with around 9 decent lenses, plus the standard kit lens that came with it.
/+ lots of other varied pieces of equipment he gave me before leaving. I have two cracking flash guns here, but have no idea if I can get adapters so that they will fit the sony body

I'm having lots of trial and error shots, as I've never used a full on SLR before - so all the 'best of a bad bunch' efforts can be seen here:
