In the ceiling of the gents' in a certain Edinburgh pub
is a square hole about 50cm x 50cm. We determined they have a Ceiling Tiger and it's watching, waiting...

hahaha
i'm so glad she's finally getting some comeuppance. I believe I heard her radio 5(?) show a while ago where she came across as a complete cunt when going on about the mmr vaccine.

oh Jesus christ is she the same one?
Mr Goldacre, I believe, destroyed her with a Science Laser from orbit. Only a good pelting with eggs and rotten fruit can bring justice, I say.

I could be wrong, but I have a strong feeling it was her.

agreed
we need to build a Science Laser that can zap the 'tards - or at least the ones with influence. Silently and painlessly.

I'm glad she wrote her column.
Sometimes something wrong is needed, in order to make people realise that a correction in our attitudes has happened over a length of time.
All of a sudden we're all realising that homophobia isn't something we're happy with.

I have to check the Daily Mail every day
To make sure I don't have to put out statements to calm members of the general public who phone my company in a state of panic.
I agree that it takes something like herarticle, vile offensive rant to remind me that this paper tawdry hate filled rag isn't as reasonable as it pretends to be. It does lull you into a false sense of security mind you, combining stories that are designed to get even sad old lefties like me indignant, with truely offensive crap that then just washes over you un-noticed.

I agree that it takes something like her
shame it's the case, but you're right
and the outpouring of bile in her direction yesterday was heartwarming. Personally I hope the fail don't retract her column, if they do that then in future they can deny its existence far too easily. I think a couple of days in the stocks for her is the best thing, if she loses her job someone else, even more vile (Kelvin McKenzie maybe) will just take over, and she'd end up working somewhere else pretending none of it had happened

Jan Moir did write all this shite, and she's patently a cunt
but she doesn't have a direct conduit to publication, everyone who came in contact with this story before publication at the Mail deserve to lose their jobs. It's disgusting that things like this regularly make it into print, when there are so many people who just accept this shit because it's written on a newspaper, therefore, it must be true and ought to be the way they should think. Jan Moir is particularly dangerous, as she does not leave any space for discussion in her articles or opinions and writes like she is stating fact and that everyone is a retard if they can't see how obviously correct she is, when in truth, she has no fucking inkling of the truth behind her statements.

I wouldn't say everyone.
Just her and her editor. The IT guy who updates the website doesn't have a say in what get's put there. Any more so than the guy who loads the van does about what is printed in the newspaper.
