# Not photoshopped. And made by Bill Drummond.

From the b3ta inbox ...

Steve Drayton writes -

This is real, it's not photoshop. Bill Drummond made it.
Hull City Council took it down.

Rob writes -

That's cool. It made me laugh.

Couple of questions.

Did you take the photo?

How do you know Bill Drummond did it?

Has it been in the local papers? Websites?

Give me background!

Steve writes -

My collegue at the Hull Daily Mail, matt stephenson sent it, Bill Drummond
is doing a lot of work in Hull with a comapany called 'Hull time based arts'
I think it was taken down before the press got onto it. It was on the main
road into Hull from the Humber bridge.

I don't know who took the photo but matt (who sent me the photo) may well have more info.

Pleased I could be of service. Love the website, it makes me laugh.

# Yeah there were no tubes that day
It was a nice sunny day though so I didn't mind the long walk there rather than a cramped bus too. (not that any buses had any space to let me on anyway)

# yay!
damn right:)

My friends went to the lecture he gave at the university. He also made one of these for Southampton or Portsmouth i believe.

(The sign has now been taken down)

(BTW Steve Drayton is a funny man, he used to run the a comedy night in Hull, and had his own Comedy quiz night, called 'World of Quiz'')

# Chainsaw
Naaah. He wasn't gonna chop his hand off. He was gonna chainsaw up a dead sheep on stage and throw 3 gallons of blood over the audience. Extreme Noise Terror talked him out of it. Sir Georg Solti walked out halfway through the set, he wasn't impressed with Drummond's screaming (personally I think the heavy machine-gun scared him). The sheep turned up later on the doorstep of the Savoy with a sign round its neck reading "I died for you". Top night that.
