One thing i've been wondering, how do you do random things in flash. I can only do things as long as it's predifined etc, it would be great to know how to make it, say, randomly select a frame etc.

It's nice to see that at least one other person made it into the office on the day of mass absenteeism.
Out of 16 people meant to be in my office at the last count there is......Me and that's it - I can't decide if it's a good idea to bugger off to the pub or not!!!

Yukky ball of pig skin and a bunch of twats chasing around after it...... I don't know why they don't just have one ball each and get it over with....think of all the arguements it would save...!!

fact that some people don't like football but I do and I was wondering if they have to moan about it all the time....?
It's only for a few weeks every four years. And what else would we do if we couldn't stir up National Xenophobia once in a while eh? We'd probably invade Poland just for something to do!

I prefer the world superbikes to Football
And yes I agree with the point that there is footy on all the time but the world cup (sentimental filter to the on position) is a bit special as you get to see teams and players that you never normally get to see and the added joy of seeing the French getting their asses slapped by Senegal.
(Edit) And the American friendly fire goal!!!! hahahahahah

That's just the world cup - then you have the league 10 months a year and the Euro Championships every 4 years too. Seems to me to be constantly around.

get all this bitching about league games and so forth. I think its the hype and constant coverage that is pissing people off, not the football itself. I personally love the world cup and shall be leaving work at lunchtime to drink and watch the match with my friends.
and possibly stabbing someone, because I like football and apparantly thats what I should do.

I agreed with Tendency that your duck post earlier:

would make a great screensaver.
So I took the liberty of making one based on your concept. (that's why I'm still up at 4:30!)
The download is just over 2.3mb as a zip and it should run on most windows 9x+ but it's only been tested on winMe
Hope you like it.
Download it here
And now, I'm going to bed.

A few probs here: when it stops (when I use the mousey or k/b) it comes up with an error report and threatens to tell Microshaft on you.
After about 30 secs Furtive and Fluffy freeze and the ducks stop moving up and down. The duck movement runs v slowly as well.
I'm running a Toshiba SatelliteP3 1.1GHz with 512MB Ram and GeForce 2 with 16MB of VRAM.
Other than that it's loverly. Really!
