"So I Married a Strange Person" - an animated film by Bill Plympton
(you may remember the two guys punching each others faces
in and the like on MTV a few years back during ad breaks - same

I haven't been able to get a PAL copy or a DVD for the appropriate region of it. Tartan Video do distribute "The Tune" in the UK, another Plympton animation, but not quite so demented or enjoyable as "So I married...". The Tune does have the characters from the NikNaks advert in it though.

# Aye Caramba!!!!
Thanks to all the B3tan voters, and I will honour my promise!

It was a close contest, and personally I thought the Noddy wall frieze would be a real contender. The results are under Week 2's challenge:

I wish I had an idea of the number of votes cast, a % is good, but the numbers would have been of great interest (If the total vote was in thousands, I'd know it wasn't just B3tans who made the victory).

I'm shocked the loo seat came second, it didn't have the comedy value of the Noddy Frieze or, indeed, Hammerpants. After all, it is a fun thing.

Must admit, the grand challenge has my brain doing loops already, and I don't even know what it is yet. Perhaps it'll be turned into an ad (wishful thinking I know, but that would be soooo cool!)

[challenge entry] artistic criticism
The 'critical cannon' shows artistic criticism as both a creative and destructive activity. Ultimately the public must answer the question 'are conceptual artists talented, or just full of shit?'.

The copyright runs out on it at the end of this year (30 years) so theyre trying to make as much money as they can before they loose the opportunity.

I wouldnt be suprised if there isnt loads more out shortly.
