What's the best film?
I think it's Aliens but my mate says it's Terminator 2.

Both those films are overrated.
In fact every film that anyone likes is overrated. And books, bands, comedians, TV shows; all overrated.
I’m just so cool and culturally superior*
*Immature and frightened of admitting to liking something incase someone laughs at me.

And in the UK it’s legal to stab-up anyone who claims the following as the best.
7 Samurai
Eraser Head
Freaks
Plan9 From Outer Space
Anything made by Russ Meyer
Dune
anything involving comic-book action heroes

Terminator (not the sequel)
remains my favourite, as I believe it to be nigh on perfect.

I tend to think of 1 & 2 as a conjoined entity
And then I like to forget that they made any other Terminator films at all

Yes
Terminator 2 is a bit too glossy and Hollywoodised compared to the first.
I think T3 is much better than people say. It doesn't make any continuity errors that weren't already made in T2, and the ending is wonderfully bleak.

I'm spotting a bit of a pattern here, that great movies tend to involve Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver or James Cameron.

depends...
I love the films of French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet but on another day I might want to watch Old Boy or a Hollywood nobrainer blockbuster
But I can't chose a favourite film or a favourite album or a favourite cheese it just depends on mood, setting, colour socks...

You must be incredibly stupid.
