Cars, we've never talked about cars before
I would love an original 1965 Porsche 911 for my own money or a Ferrari 250 Calirfornia if I was uber rich.
What would your dream car be? Or do you hate cars?
Alt: branded clothes, waste of money or statement of your style?

the only question that really matters is: WHAT COLOUR IS IT?
i love old cars. but having had a 1970's beetle, you have to be able to look after them, or they are nothing but a black hole for cash. and also they don't go very fast. so i'd love to have a proper old beetle, preferably a ragtop, or maybe an mg. but then something like a bugatti for hooning it around in the rest of the time.

Then I got a Fiesta, which has served me (mostly) faithfully ever since. But when that dies, I'm getting another Mini, and no I don't care if you can't get child seats in it and they're unsafe and expensive, I'm bloody well having one.

My favourite car that I've actually owned was a 1990 mk2 Golf GTi.
It was constantly breaking down. But the parts were cheap and I could work on it myself. I learned mechanics on that car and every time I fixed something it would look better or run better. That car wanted to live, but its parts kept letting it down.
When I finally couldn't fix it anymore I had to leave the house before the scrap merchant arrived. I couldn't bear to watch it get carted off to be killed.
All my cars since have felt dead.

Fit. I also really want a Beetle because they're cute but they're so very expensive and the insurance is crazy considering they're no better than the Fiesta I already have.

I've always had a Fiesta, they're great little cars
I've driven a few alternatives in the same class and I think the Festa is the best(a). Sorry, that was lame but I couldn't help it

In virtually every respect
A beetle is massively inferior to the Fiesta you already have.
Even if it's a "New" Beetle.

Tough one...
...I don't do the car thing anymore TBH, but there is one car that I'd own again in the blink of an eye if I could find a decent one.
A Mk2 Golf 16 valve would do very nicely, plus I could do most of the servicing myself.
I'd spend the rest on a stable full of bikes. For those that care, these would consist of:
Ibis Mojo
Santa Cruz Nomad
Specialized Enduro (a newer one, in addition to the one I already have)
Specialized Epic
Lapierre Spicy
My current nuclear orange Marin Wolf Ridge
I'd have a couple of road bikes too.

I do like the old E-type Jags
If I could have a garage full I'd probably have a Lambroghini, a Bentley Continental for comfort and a '67 Impala for the laughs.
Alt: I don't like clothes with visible branding, they're more than a little tacky. But well-made clothing from a decent company is worth the price.
