Goals
Do you/have you set yourself any goals to work towards, either professional or personal?

Alt:
Did you have a good weekend?
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:27, 208 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
I saw Alpha Pappa, it was pretty good.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:29, Reply)
I'll wait for the DVD I think

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:30, Reply)
Fair enough, not necessary to see it in the cinema.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:30, Reply)
Alright Chompy. Seen the promo for the new X-Com expansion?

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:37, Reply)
I have, I was not that impressed with the last one so I don't think I'd pick it up unless it gets very cheap.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:46, Reply)
That was a pretty easily achieved goal.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:33, Reply)
Yes. Although I went to Brent Cross and the Tesco there is full of Jewish people being self absorbed
and not paying any attention to where they are pushing their trolleys.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:30, Reply)
I dont believe it is solely the Jewish that do this
Diagonal trolley parking makes me get THE RAGE
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:31, Reply)
I also went to that branch of Tesco at the weekend.
I am extremely pleased I did not see you.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:31, Reply)
I wouldn't have seen you anyway, though I might have felt a slight crunch under one shoe at one point.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:36, Reply)
The flatmate leaves her trolley in the middle of the aisle.
Drives me spare and all the telling off in the world doesn't change it.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:45, Reply)
Do a good job, impress, get kept on is my current goal.
Weekend consisted of a walk up Simonside and fretting about the dog, who is currently at the vets getting a massive lump removed from her gum.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:31, Reply)
Oh noes
Dog woes
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:33, Reply)
Noticed it a week past Friday,
got an appointment last Tuesday to get it checked and booked her in for surgery next Monday. Unfortunately over the weekend it doubled in size, so we had to ring the out of hours service and get her in for an emergency appointment this morning.

I expect to have a well dog and £260 less in my bank account later today.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:35, Reply)
Money well spent though if the dog is OK

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:37, Reply)
Hopefully it'll be covered on the insurance, if it's not classed as dental.
Otherwise agreeing to the missus going to Kos for a wedding in a couple of weeks time is beginning to look a bit foolhardy.

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:40, Reply)
The flight was a bargain.
£250 from Manchester including return rail fare. The flight from Newcastle was nearly 500 fucking quid!
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:43, Reply)
Ouch

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:44, Reply)
The last time we both went we ended up flying from Manchester
as the flight from the Toon was about £200 each more. Idiotic.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:46, Reply)
Alt: Superb ta. Had micro all weekend, including her staying overnight at my place for the first time.
I was shattered by the time I dropped her back last night though.

All that washing up would ruin the lovely soft skin on your hands.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:49, Reply)
I have relatively simple goals
Get bitches get money.

I'd like to have a more settled life, be happier and move somewhere nicer, rent out my house and enjoy life a bit more. Would be nice to fit a woman in there somewhere too. Easy.
So that's what I'm working towards, although not very successfully.
(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:33, Reply)
All good plans though

(, Mon 2 Sep 2013, 10:34, Reply)
I don't really have specific goals as such.
Just got to try and do the bigger things I think will cheer me up a bit.

Have you considered a life in service to God?
