1) Theft of traffic cone, as my mate wanted a reflective hat.

2) Not really sure. I'm more of a personal circumstance horror, like murders and stuff rather than monsters wreaking havoc

Oh alright then...
1. Never... I'm a good boy. Oh hang on, about 5 minutes ago when I handed someone a pirate DVD..and then before that when I was at home watching Virgin TV XL package for free...or was it when I was still probably over the limit when I drove into work this morning?

2. George Lucas. My hopes for the animated 'clone Wars' movie aren't particularly high.

3. Either 'Don't let the sun go down on me' by Elton John *shames* or 'I believe in a thing called Love' by The Darkness.

1) Last month I accidently became a drug trafficker. Was at a festival in the Highlands, much fun was had by all, but on arriving back in Dublin I discovered a secret stash that I had at some point over the weekend hidden for later use. Took it right through security and the Xray machines and everything. Hidden in a welly boot :)

3) If i'm in a pub, and its Karaoke... I leave :)

2. Hmm I always get weirdly creeped out by Lestat in Interview with a Vampire, not sure why...

2) The zombies in 28 Days Later

3) Hmmmm. "Skating Away" by Jethro Tull, if they ever had it. "The Penis Song" or "Every Sperm is Sacred" by Monty Python. Or "Goldfinger".

2. Not a movie monster but I was absolutely terrified of the shadowy little squeeking babies from Silent Hill 1.

3. It'd have to be House of the Rising Sun.

OK then:
1) Having a beer on the Tube a couple of weeks ago.

2) When I was a kid, the librarian ghost at the beginning of ghostbusters used to shit me right up.

3) I don't do karaoke very much, but it'll probably be 'In the End' (rap part) by Linkin Park if my best mate is around. If it's just me, 'Losing My Religion' by R.E.M.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 12:52, Reply)
I'll have a go:
1) Apart from traffic offences, last time I broke the law was when I bought alcohol for my younger sister (she's 17) for her camping trip.

2) The zombies in 28 days later, that they're human but changed in a plausable way is something I both love and am scared by.

3) Light my Fire by The Doors, my singing voice is quite similar but I must be pretty wasted to do kareoke in the first place so it's a rarity.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 13:04, Reply)
Ok
1) My birthday party - coke
2) Had regular nightmares about Freddy Krueger.
And Worzel Gummidge. Go figure.

1. Speeding....I'm always speeding.

2. The cenobite with the chattering teeth.

3. I will survive by Gloria Gaynor, but only if I was completely twatted. I also have a back-up Barbara Streisand number I could sing. Yes, I am a gay man trapped in a women's body.

Oh wait
2 (amended)The clown it IT but I saw it when it was a two part thing on channel four and never saw the second part so started reading the book got more freaked out and was never able to rent/buy the whole film so I could see the end.

@grammar badger
I did the same. only ever saw the first bit when I was about 12. scared the shit out of me for a long time.

i'd be paranoid about going into shower rooms alone....
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 13:37, Reply)
Easy
1. I bought a vibrator for my 'sexual pleasure' (they're illegal in Georgia), that was about 2 weeks ago. Since then I've broken the law every night by using it.
2. the T. rex in Jurassic park. reminds me of my grandmother.
3. 'I'm on my way' by the Proclaimers. Or any song by the proclaimers really.

1) When was the last time you broke the law? What were you doing?

Speeding. I'm very bad for it.

2) Which "movie monster" scares you the most?

The Alien Queen.

3) You're in a pub. It's Karaoke night. You have to do one song, what do you sing?

Folsom Prison Blues, Johnny Cash.

folsom prison blues
awesome song
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 13:51, Reply)
@Vipros
I don't even know how old I was but I think I was more freaked out as I never knew how it ended and my imagination just kicked in to overdrive instead. Reading the book was a bad move think I only got to the bit in the bathroom.

Did you ever see the end? I really should suck it up and watch it! Normally I am only freaked out by Japanese horror films as they have that awful scratching noise in them and unlike hollywood films that make you jump you just feel really on edge. After watching the Ring and Ring2 in the house by myself when channel 4 (damn you channel 4!) were having a week of frights I was seriously concerned I was going to die in a week. I have never been happier than on that 8th day....
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 13:58, Reply)
Hmmm

1. Took the car in for its MOT this morning - last one ran out on July 17th. Oh, and I did over 60mph on the tiny bit of dual carriageway on the way to work - it's the only way to get past the friggin' petrol tankers.

2. Don't really watch horror these days - Mrs G is a wimp - but either the 'baby' from Eraserhead or Anthony Hopkins' ventriloquist's puppet in 'Magic'.

3. I've only EVER done kareoke once - at my sis-in-law's 40th: did 'Walk on the Wildside' Lou Reed to a standing ovation (well, in my hazy memory anyway). Next time, I'll choose 'The Passenger' by Iggy Pop.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 13:58, Reply)
Grammar Badger
I haven't watched the end, and to be honest I've hardly watched any horror since

The Thing is one of my favourite films, but I couldn't watch the Ring or anything like that.

I'm a bit of a wussbag when it comes to that sort of stuff. it's embarrassing but Signs freaked me out
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 14:22, Reply)
*looks shocked*
But the aliens were obviously really crappy CGI!
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 14:26, Reply)
it wasn't the aliens
it was the thought of them

the actual story is pretty shit, but the atmosphere of the film plus my overactive imagination conspired against me
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 14:30, Reply)
Signs
was alright. Nicely filmed as usual for Mr M. Knight Shambolicalarm.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 14:53, Reply)
I don't really remember the film itself
I just remember being really really really really angry at the stupid copout ending of "oh their allergic to water even though the earth is 80odd% water and there is water in the atmosphere which would have effected them" Unbreakable was also a good film with a super shit ending that ruined it for me.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 14:56, Reply)
OK...
1. Since I've stopped puffing I don't break the law nearly as often. I guess it's probably speeding.

2. Rene Zellweger.

3. If I do Karaoke people leave the building. It's not fair on the publicans, so I don't.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 15:09, Reply)
hmmmmm
1) Last Friday - a few cheeky little pills

2) General Woundwort from Watership Down

3) Never done karaoke but probably something by the Clash
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 16:02, Reply)
Okay, here goes ...
1) Not for a very very long time. But underage drinking and sex may have featured in my past.

2) All of them. But mostly the "infected" in 28 Days Later.

3) Never ever ever. I'd be charged with crimes against humanity if I sang in public.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 16:18, Reply)
um
1) fishing - poaching on a riverbank. Got cornered by the baliffs, did not catch any fish. That, or filming clandestine guerilla model plane flying, though I'm still not all that clear on what's legal and what's not when it comes to rc flying, but look out for me on Crimewatch.

2) the child in the mask from The Orphanage. Fuck.

3) "Where the Wild Roses Grow" as a duet with my best mate. She's Kylie, I'm Nick. We ace this on SingStar after 3 bottles of prosecco.
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 16:53, Reply)
My turn
1) Rolling a car down a hill, that we thought was scrapped, whilst at school on a cross-country "run"- ie fags round tony gallaghers house, and raided the drinks cabinet. Turns out it wasn't scrapped, just parked and rusty, and the Police were out searching for weeks for the "yobs" that did it, instead of 7 15 year olds pissed and on a nicotine high.
2) Pennywise the clown- or that smiling fucker in Poltergeist. I fucking hate clowns. Did I mention I hate clowns?
3) American Pie, but I can only remember the lyrics when pissed, and am possessed of what has been described as "a deep, flat baritone". I can't sing a note sober, so no idea!
(, Fri 15 Aug 2008, 18:56, Reply)
Hmmm...
1) Friday, bought some alcohol for my mates younger (17 years old) brother

2) Either Sam Neill in Event Horizon or Damien (The Omen).

3) Without a douct, it's got to be "Livin On A Prayer".

And I have actually done "Every Sperm Is Sacred" too. The problem was me and two mates did it, they didn't know the words, and so most of our performance was me swearing at them for being useless.
