(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:10, Reply)
+ powdered egg.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:12, Reply)
Yeah and dried milk I think.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:13, Reply)
How fucking lazy is that though?
Its not really THAT hard to mix flour, egg and milk
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:14, Reply)
Gonz likes to use premix as it's easier to add the cat litter & deep fried radishes to the dish.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:16, Reply)
It adds both crunch, pepperiness and texture

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:17, Reply)
We ain't in WW2 times, no need for powdered egg or milk.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:21, Reply)
I'm taking a different approach to pancake day; using the batter to make toad in the hole.

No, I'm joining in.
Do you have an hand operated accelerator?

Oh man.
My stupid old R reg shitheap barely has central locking. Doesn't even have power steering, ffs.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:28, Reply)
My old car had an electric sunroof! The new one doesn't have one, but it does have air-con!

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:30, Reply)
My first car didn't have aircon and the blowers were shit
On a long drive you'd lose about 1/2 a stone

I like to hang my head out whilst driving. Actually thats the dog :(

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:37, Reply)
Mine has a button on the boot lid, which makes the car close the boot but itself!
Which is quite useful when you've got a toddler in one arm & nappy bag in the other.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:32, Reply)
maddie?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:35, Reply)

I need to press mine down to start the car

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:18, Reply)
You can thank the Yanks and their product liability laws for that

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:20, Reply)
I keep doing it automatically now in the Mrs' car

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:21, Reply)
It started with a woman suing Audi cos she started her auto in Drive with her foot on the accelerator
shot straight through the back of the garage and killed her husband. Judge ruled it was Audis fault not hers for not being able to drive.
Same as the guy who went into the back of his RV on the interstate to make a brew, cos he thought the cruise control was autopilot so he didn't need to carry on driving.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:29, Reply)
Why do people still park their cars with it in gear?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:30, Reply)
I have NEVER done this, but I dreamt I did it last night. Your post has reminded me. Spooky.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:30, Reply)
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:32, Reply)
I do it on a hill because I don't trust a 25 year old handbrake.
But then I am also clever enough to take it out of gear, or engage the clutch, before starting it.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:30, Reply)
I bet you put your seatbelt on as you are driving away

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:35, Reply)
mr b3th puts his on about two thirds into his journey, the massive twat.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:36, Reply)
No, I do that beforehand
since holding the socket in one hand, the belt in the other and looking down whilst jabbing ineffectually often ends in a bus stop massacre.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:36, Reply)
This pleases me
I hate people doing that. For some reason, it really fucks me off
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:37, Reply)
That's because taking both hands off the wheel is for cunts.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:46, Reply)
Who cares about a load of bus wankers though?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:38, Reply)
my dad always leaves it in reverse, or in gear if he's facing uphill
it's a hangover from having saabs, in the 70's when you had to do that, apparently. he chooses to ignore the fact that these days he has a modern automatic.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:33, Reply)
I thought it was something to do with the car not wandering off if the handbrake fails, or whatever.
I do it, but mostly because I never remember to take it out of gear when I park up.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:33, Reply)
i always get mad when people pull up the handbrake against the ratchet
horrible sound
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:35, Reply)
and wears out the ratchet, too

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:39, Reply)
Is that actually actually true?
Because that's weapons-grade retard behaviour from all concerned.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:30, Reply)
Doris had one of them 1 series Beemers for a hire car a month back.
Hold the clutch down and press a start button to turn the engine over. What a palava. What's wrong with an ignition key? You can't just hotwire cars from the ignition stalk anymore.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:23, Reply)
The keys go on the wrong side too
Takes some getting used to
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:24, Reply)
I burned the clutch out on a hire car once.
A purple Nissan Primera.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:20, Reply)
I'm gutted I missed it.
I thought I'd make an early start at work, instead. What a cunt, eh readers?
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:20, Reply)
my first car was a 1971 beetle
it was fucking awesome. but the pedals in those old beetles are at a really steep angle, you have to have your knees bent to drive. and apparently you have to double de-clutch, whatever that means, I just did it instinctively, as the fucking thing stalled all the time otherwise.

amazing car though, even if it did break down every 5 minutes.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:34, Reply)
I hate beetles,
and those shit camper vans too. Shitheaps.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:40, Reply)

Tuesday is my day off
so I like it very much.

No pancakes for us tonight. I'm sticking a nice beef casserole in the slow cooker.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:20, Reply)
WTF are you up for then?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:22, Reply)
Because stupid people keep phoning me up
and asking me to do things for them.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:27, Reply)
That's an interesting term for YM.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:23, Reply)
Is a slow cooker the same as a casserole dish in a low oven?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:29, Reply)
Yep.

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:29, Reply)
It's pretty much the same, except you have to talk about it on the internet more

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:31, Reply)
Got it
I just wanted make sure I was correct in my assumption that slow cookers are for idiots
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:32, Reply)
Morning
I do, means that I have some decent TV to watch tonight.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:22, Reply)

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:22, Reply)
You're watching the sewing bee too?

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:23, Reply)
I think if the highlight of my day/week was a tv programme I'd reconsider my options

(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:27, Reply)
So far so good
I was knackered all day yesterday so ended up going to bed at 11 and not getting up until 7:15 which means I'm bright-eyed and perky today for the first time in ages.

Also have tomorrow off, which is nice. Not going to CentreParcs though.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2014, 9:24, Reply)
