Today's earworm seems to be "This town ain't big enough for the both of us" by Sparks
for some reason. I don't think I've heard it for some time...
What's got in your head?

"Beer Beer Beer" by Rob & Joel.
Found it a couple of weeks back, ended up singing it whilst rather drunk. Now can't stop singing the bastard!

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state then nearly 40 million years ago expansion started,
WAIT! the earth began to cool, the autotrophs began to drool, neanderthals developed tools, we built a wall we built a pyramid!
Maths science history unraveling the mystery that all started with a big bang!
Yes, I am watching Big Bang Theory from the start. It's brilliant.

The tune by Florence and the Machine
which seems to be in the background of every single fucking trail they run, meaning my half-hour of Sky News in the morning plants the song in my head and the chorus loops over and over until eventually I end up strangling some poor passer-by who walks too slowly in front of me.

there's a lot of stuff around at the moment that I quite like
at least in principle, but never actually want to listen to.
Like The Temper Trap, and Mumford and Sons. Pretty good, but it just doesn't hold my interest the way things like Tool and Wolfmother and Pink Floyd do.

Probably a generation thing. Sadly, you are too young and missed it.
There's a film coming up with Andy Selkis as Drury. I'll be there. You won't. C'est la vie.
What was it with Sparks and the 'sing as many words to the bar as possible' thing? Did they do anything else, but?

half of my favourite bands are from well before I was born
so the generation thing doesn't really cut it, unless you are saying my generation tends not to like dull music with rubbish lyrics spoken by someone with an annoying voice.
