Today i saw Tommy from annoyingly chirpy 90's television programme 'Ground Force' walking out of HMV
I also purchased Dark Knight on Blu Ray and Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead

Tell me of your day, you bunch of closet homosexuals and faux lesbos.

The final cut

I've mainly been arsing around in a dressing gown.
Then I took my cv to the careers service.

I've got work soon, then pub (probably the lion).

This might sound a daft question, but are there any skittle alleys round here?
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:26, archived)
Not that i know of

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:28, archived)
I installed IE7 on a load of machines
Ran a telephony report,
Moved a desk,
Had a couple of beers for lunch,
Retrieved some phone calls from the call logger,
Fixed some other problems.

I work in IT.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:26, archived)
Tonight I shall focus on my random burns.

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:27, archived)
Or beer if the receptionist turns up at my front door

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:28, archived)
Beer at lunch would just knock me out later on

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:29, archived)
I've been doing it since I worked here
and to be honest, IT is a lot better drunk.

I want to work in IT

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:30, archived)
It doesn't sound like I've done much
but it has been a truly stressful day. I didn't know how I was going to fit it all in. The report itself took about 2 hours.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:31, archived)
And I'm still working on installing IE7

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:32, archived)
stress and hard work is good
I want to work in IT
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:32, archived)
Well I'm sure if you're good at it you can do it
but not all departments are like the I.T. crowd.

Mine is though :D
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:33, archived)
All I want is a job in IT.
Pretty tough out there at the moment though.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:34, archived)
I seeeeeeeeee
London is where all the good IT jobs are at, tbh.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:36, archived)
Not really about good jobs, its availability
I know 10 people who are going for the same jobs I am.. plus whoever else is job hunting. It's a ballache.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:37, archived)
Yowzer!

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:38, archived)
Aye... not good.

One of our more senior chefs upped sticks a while back.
They put an advert in the Job Centre and got no less than 350 (allegedly) experienced and fully-qualified applicants phoning up. In one day!

Some of them were from as far away as Kendal (we're in Bradford.)
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:39, archived)
I imagine about 90% of those don't know what they're talking about though

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:40, archived)
Ouch!

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:41, archived)

let's see, i woke up when my alarm went off and i got out of bed, got washed and dressed and walked through the woods to the train station
i went in to the shop at the station and bought a bottle of orange juice, i was a tad early for the train so i smoked a cigarette, i then boarded my train and sat back and relaxed on my journey to charing cross....to be continued ....

(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:38, archived)
Went into Leeds looking for a suitable present.
Found it after far too much pissing about, nearly fell asleep on the bus home, had to have a pint to recover from all the aggressive metropolitanism.
(, Fri 12 Jun 2009, 17:30, archived)
Watched a few people walk up and down a bit in the morning,
lunch in the park in the sun, at home all afternoon and shortly off to Birmingham for the weekend. Apparently my dinner is being cooked for me as we speak.

I went for a steak at lunch and had a beer with it
I also had cafe liegeois and a big fucking coffee.
Then I did more Technical Support phone calls.

Later, I shall attend a bar, where I shall have some of that alcohol.
