Cor that was so awesome I had to come and tell you all
just sat here minding my own business and I can hear the roar of what I thought was two helicopters but it sounded all wrong and too loud and thudding, I look out my window and there's a fucking chinook hovering about 300ft above my house. And then it just goes on its way. I wish I'd had my camera handy :(
Lets talk about the most positive thing that's happened to you recently.

That kind of thing used to happen all the time when I was a child.
We never thought it was positive.

To be fair though
they were mostly trying to get a clear shot, then.

Teaching kids in London
So worthwhile. Seeing the not-so-confident kids come out of their shell and perform on stage was just.. amazing. Loved it.
Now here come the Strikethrough Squad to imply I fingered all of them, or something.

one of the best times I've had on b3ta reading all that.
It's a catalogue of catastrophe, and very funny seeing all that in one place,
and the associated replies to each.
props to mike

My step-dad arrived at my playgroup in a Chinook, dressed as an Elf, and he was with a guy dressed as Santa and they handed out presents. It was awesome.
EDIT I'm lying, it was a Sea King, but still. Almost made up for Daddy leaving, that did.

We finally finished all our house and garden stuff
as we moved into a flat that was not only filthy but the garden was not looked after at all. Shoulder high nettles.
It took months but we were finally done last weekend, and could have a relax in the garden. Then there was a fire down the road and we went to gawk at that.
