To all of Alan Pond's friends, it is with grief and sadness that I am letting you know that Alan died in his home on November 21, 2013. His passing was peaceful and he seemed to have fallen asleep in front of his computer. He had a serious heart condition. I am his fiancee, Diana Eames, and he often spoke about his attachment and affection for this group, of which he was a long time member. He will long be missed by an endless list of people, and the world is a colder, darker place without him.
