Worming tablets
and our cat were always a source of entertainment.
You'd have to coat them in butter to stand half a chance of getting them eaten, but just as you thought you'd managed it, he'd go 'pttt', spit it out and give you a malevolent look through buttered whiskers.

I use
a delicate technique for worming. Which normally involves significant puncture wounds to my right hand.
I had to learn the vet's technique when one of them (sadly now departed to tuna heaven) had a leg amputated due to cancer and I had to adminster antibiotics. So I'm quite a dab hand at it now.
