# I'm not quite sure what she would get up to
I imagine she'd feel mighty superior and drop globules of spit on us feeble non-nuns

NONNUNS

I UNDERSTAND THE HABIT JOKE

# she's going to feel up mother superior?

# the little line which says "IN SPACE!"
didn't come out, I'm mildly upset... I like the idea that even though it's referred to as GEOSTATIONARY and you know that generally requires being in ORBIT that it ought really be obvious that it's in SPACE or at least on the cusp

however the joke is lost.
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:00, archived)
# I reckon it's fine without it.
Top banana, sir.

(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 19:25, archived)
# hmmmmm
surely you can be in geostationary orbit 6 inches off the ground ?

which practically requires *IN SPACE* for the purposes of clarification (:
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:05, archived)
# :( stop ruining my fun I WILL HAVE TO EDIT IT NOW
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:06, archived)

# You'd need to have some kind of engine for that.
There's only one specific height where you can stay in geostationary orbit without external propulsion.
God I'm such a geek.
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:11, archived)
# I don't think it counts as an orbit
if you continually have to apply thrust to stay there, that's called flying.

# I need to get this into perspective
Is she an extremely large nun or is she in space?

Is she having an adventure now or are the adventures to come?

Am I asking too many questions and should just stfu and get over it?

I think I am going to like her in approximately 27½ seconds.
Edit: 28 seconds have passed and I DO like her!
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 16:59, archived)
# she's geostationary
thus floating in space in a perfectly corresponding orbit to the spin of the planet.

it's almost romantic, if she'd let you put her bits in her...

but she's a nun and we all know priests take nuns bits from them when they give themselves to god.
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:01, archived)
# I have no bits to put in her
but I am glad you put me right.
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:03, archived)
# Actually he said
"if she'd let you put her bits in her".
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:23, archived)
# So, in short, you're saying
She's floating up ther to improve her chance in of getting a bit of Howz Yer Deity?
(, Fri 1 Feb 2008, 17:03, archived)
# yes, she's chosen to not breathe like a lot of nuns choose not to speak, she's chosen not to breath...
God Rumpy Pumpy is worth the wait apparently
