# It seems that Fark
has done something fluffy for a change.

BTW, has anyone seen 'Unbreakable'? I just saw it last night on DVD and thought it was brill

# I liked unbreakable,
but it felt like shyamalan was deliberately trying to make characters that you didn't care about by slowing... everything... down...
(, Mon 3 Mar 2003, 14:41, archived)
# aye.
much, much better.
and sixth sense was good too, from the director of unbreakable.

# He did "Signs", as well
Another absolutely brilliant movie. M. Night Shylamna's style seems to revolve not around the generic ideas we're used to (ie. aliens, ghosts, superheroes), even though we're made to think that they're the main part of the movie, but instead around moral concepts he uses the generic ideas to illustrate.

"ok, so what am i doing. Ahh, i'm chasing this guy..."

brill. I watched it, and then had to watch it again so i could go "aaaahhhhh!" at all the scenes.

Edit: that came out like i didn't understand it the first time. which isn't the case, i just wanted to go "aaaahhh!" at all the scenes because you know exactly why stuff is happening the second time.
