If you are not splashing out on various glass, I would consider the G10 over that to be honest

That's a Powershot, right?
I do want to be able to change lenses and stuff. For yearbook next year, I have to be able to change lenses actually. The one thing I don't like about the XT is that I can't use fisheye lenses and the like, because the 1.6x focal length addition.

but to be honest, I don't see much point playing about with glass unless you are on at least a 450D body
The G10 is a superb camera, sort of tempted to get one myself to have lying around; it shoots in raw as well, at 14 million pixels!

It's now a pricey dust collector.
I might have to be a mean daddy and claim it for my own.

I really wanna do some photojournalism, but I spend 7 hours a day at school, where I can't have my camera out most of the time. But I'm doing the yearbook next year so I'll get to do more photos.
Hahahah

I have a summer job this year (yay!), and I've been thinking of using my pay to buy a used car. Or a new camera... x]
I have to decide.

What they see on MySpaceBookFace is probably worse, but it would just be weird.

Are 16yr old girls exempt from the rule of being yelled at for posting an unshopped picture?

Have you read the FAQ? You've been here long enough, you must've. Pictures don't need to be photoshopped. It just has to be your own. So yeah, it can be a photo.

Like, don't post unshopped pics in a new thread unless they're pretty fucking special

But I'm not breaking any 'rules'. It's my work, unshopped or not.
Not like it's even a big deal. It'll get pushed down and then it's gone. So I really don't see the issue.

It doesn't bother me too much, but what does is the hypocrisy. If it was anyone else they would have been jumped on, probably quite unkindly. But you get treated differently (and I'm not blaming you for that)

I was merely suprised by the lack of shouting normally taking place when someone posts an unshopped picture. But then again, this is b3ta, I should not be wondering.

it doesn't matter what day it is just go to flickr, they like photos like this as you well know..90% of b3tans couldn't give a flying fuck about your friends.

Next stage would usually be for this picture to become a bandwagon of photoshopped hilarity with the addition of magenta cdcs

that will reply to every message that you post, to get the last word presumably... and when you do, someone comes up to you in the dark GAZ corridor and calls you a twat, because he/she is only young and they are presumably grooming him/her, and being a called twat makes you teary inside?
