(, Sun 17 Sep 2006, 19:21, Reply)
Err

Brewers Fayre?

Is that one of those Harvester fake country style restaurant things? I'm hoping to discover NICE Guildford!

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 12:06, Reply)
i've never been! blame dangermouse! ;)

it is both kid and wheelchair friendly

we can head into town if need be, it's only a 5 or 10 minute walk

edit: and ALL of guildford is nice ;)

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 12:23, Reply)
well

only a 5 minute walk if you are CArl "fucking Lewis"

I may well be on the driving tip that day so will possibly have lifts available into town

if you dont mind my weird taste in music

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 12:42, Reply)
balls it's not that far just up the stoke road!

and we could stop at the stoke for one on the way!

driving?! why is everybody driving?!

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:29, Reply)
Yay

So I don't need to worry about ID problems?

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 14:54, Reply)
you should be alright

/wild guess

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:31, Reply)
current policy for most places is to ID anyone who looks under 21

so if you are buying, make sure you have over 18 ID

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 18:17, Reply)
I've only been there twice!

Finding anywhere is going to be a challenge!

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:06, Reply)
venue can be changed if you can find a place that fits the needs

family friendly (although I'm happy to relocate after a bit)
Wheelchair friendly, accessable on foot, possibly. and I'm in the car so there is room for passengers if we need to shift.

[edit] pick one from here:

I'll look into the King's head on king's road this weekend
It's far too small

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 15:08, Reply)
No idea :D

My house is near a fairly scummy looking pub called the Wooden Bridge - that's the only pub I know there!

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:07, Reply)
i used to drink there

it's alright you know, mostly studenty-types and working class people

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:29, Reply)
I visited during the world cup

and the place was festooned with flags. Not the best timing probably ;)

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 17:09, Reply)
If it's somewhere other than the 'travel tavern'

I might come along for this
How about the George Abbot, Whitehouse or the Brit (or in combo) ? Brewers Fayre hardly classes as a pub to me

(, Tue 12 Sep 2006, 13:03, Reply)
i'm all up for town and i know exactly what you are saying

i've never been to the 'fayre

but webclam is bringing his kids and Pachey's mate is in a wheelchair

maybe we need some sort of vote?

actually we could probably get quite a lot of room in the brit, and i'm sure we could get a chair into it

(, Wed 13 Sep 2006, 12:50, Reply)
that's on stoke road opposite the stoke

been in there aa couple of times it ain't massive

dunno about kids and chairs

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 16:35, Reply)
My wheely chum is looking into alternatives in town

(, Fri 1 Sep 2006, 18:56, Reply)
Fucking hell.

I might actually be able to make this one.

(, Tue 22 Aug 2006, 14:35, Reply)
Arsebiscuits

I can't come now. On the plus side, you won't have to worry about wheelchairs any more.

(, Thu 14 Sep 2006, 15:45, Reply)
