Incidentally, I don't think synch problems are YouTube's fault, I think it's down to the flv video format which works through keyframes and changes rather than essentially compressing each frame (I believe mpg compression is just jpg on a frame-by-frame basis, but don't quote me...). That's why, for example, the scrub bar doesn't work very well with flv videos.
