Right you poncy london types.
Where can I go for dinner in london Friday afternoon?
I need to get to the O2 for about 8, and I'm staying in Canary Warf.

Also Burger and Lobster, thinking about going there for Saturday lunch, worth it?

If you don't mind being a tight-scrote then there's an offer on Groupon
for all you can eat Brazilian barbecue meat for £14 (for two people) at Raizes on Hackney Rd. Right by my gaff. I've not eaten there but reports are OK. You can get to the O2 with relative ease via the overground from Hoxton Station.

EDIT my boss's wife assures me that Burger & Lobster is fucking great, and she knows her stuff

The texture is nice, and we've knocked up this lovely stuffed tomato avocado thing. It's delicious, but would be better with some wholegrain rice, or something with flavour. But for some reason, you insist on this tasteless crap.

It's actually very good for you.
It just has no texture, taste or anything about it. Very sloppy porridge with a large amount of vitamins and good stuff. I like sausages.

That's the thing, the BBQ Buffalow wings are pretty ace, and I love the creamed corn. I'd say its the only two things they do 'right' on the menu.
And in both those cases, its purely down to the fact that they're saucey.

It's not always the case, good meat doesn't need anything, but poor and average and even slightly-above-average needs some kind of sauce/marionade.
But even with good meat that doesn't need the sauce, the carbs on the side do.

I got the power out at the moment, so I went to plug my laptop into the hall and they've got a different type of plug socket for the hoovers. So I asked my handy-man who's doing my kitchen if he has any idea, and he's built a converter for it so it turns into a normal plug.
