Just spent some time over the other end of the office fixing stuff.
No doubt the topic of conversation over there now is all about the handsome older gentleman that swooped in to solve the unsolvable problems. The younger guys will be wanting to emulate me whilst the women will be fantasising about running away with me, wrapped up in my strong, manly arms.
In a lot of ways my work would be easier if IT didn't have such a masculine, romantic reputation. But let's not kid ourselves, I got into this job for the hot chicks.

The desk was surrounded by a swarm of young lads, all desperate to impress the bright young filly whose phone couldn't get an IP address.
In comes the quietly authoritative mature heart-throb, gently pushing aside the throng, before getting on his knees and reseating the cable in the girl's port.
With many sighs and a heart all a-flutter, she breathlessly thanked me before sliding clean off her chair.

Nice kid. The house where he killed Simon Martin was knocked down. I was in Roker Park on Sunday and there's still no building there now. A lad I know ended up in custody for about 6 months as they found his fingerprint in the building. He was fucking his bird in there and she was 15 and wouldn't admit she was with him, so he was accused of murder
