Well, it's a blend of spices used in curry, what definition of curry powder were you looking for?

Dunno.
I think of garam masala as a general purpose Indian seasoning, whereas curry powders are a failed attempt to replicate particular styles of dish.
Or what MEATSNAKE said.

Meh.
It's always better to grind spices as and when they're needed, anyway.

You can't make me.
I use a coffee grinder for my spices but, as I mentioned further down the thread, I rarely bother to make the effort for a curry, so tend to use those jars of spice paste. Always grind fresh when I'm making a chilli, though.

ingredients - lentils, potato and spinach are all good. i don't normally like fish in curries, but the sang am in manchester does the most amazing sizzling fish tikka - great big chunks of cod, in lovely spices, on a bed of sizzling fried onions and peppers. i've tried that same dish in curries all over london, bloody southerners just can't get it right.

I've never thought of myself as particularly ballsy.
Cauliflower can be nice in a curry, but I can rarely be bothered to put much effort in, anymore, so it's lucky that there are plenty of good curry houses round my way.
Flounces rarely stand out, but I do like to watch Monty and emvee go at each other.
