Yeah, that's right, someone whose modus operandi is to call people a cunt on an internet board, and then compile people's reactions to it in a list.

What a hard, hard man he must be.

YES I am on his sodding list. I find it more than pathetic, in fact somewhat troubling that someone compiles a list of this "victories".

I'll go out on a limb here, knowing that some QOTW folk inhabit /talk and vice-versa.

I've been on /talk I think on only a couple of occasions, both when I was drunk and before I really got into OT. I'd never go there again.

It seems to a cabal of name-calling twunts. The noise to signal ratio on there is atrocious; the people who inhabit it are welcome to it.

I don't think it's amusing behaviour to call someone a cunt. Especially if that is your first contact with them.

Banter between virtual friends is fair enough. /talk just seems to be, for those who dip into it as newbies, the equivalent of going up to the "hard" kids in the playground and talking to them - and getting greeted with swearing, spitting and generally infantile behaviour.

So no, I don't think Mike's list is "awesome". It's just a perpetuation of the bullying, exclusivity of the /talk clique.

Which they are welcome to - and which is why I'm keen to tell them to fuck off when they try and inflict the same shit on this board. I'd hate to think /qotw is exclusive to that degree, and I think anyone would be welcome here, unless they want to play /talk -style games, in which case they should go back to whence they came.
