I'm listening to Anthrax with Public Enemy doing Bring the Noise, which rocks

But what's your favourite collaboration between bands/singers etc

That moment when George goes:
"Ladies and gentlemen...

...MR ELTON JOHN!"

I have a feeling this will be a controversial choice,
but there was an utterly brilliant nu-metal/hiphop collaboration album years ago. Can't choose a favourite between:

Incubus & Big Pun - Still not a player
Static X & Dead Prez - Hip Hop
(, Wed 20 Jan 2010, 17:43, Reply)
I don't know the version you're on about here
but the original of that Dead Prez track is fucking IMMENSE. The bassline is incredible.
(, Wed 20 Jan 2010, 17:47, Reply)
Just looked it up on youtube
The video's rather in yer face and so's the music. Hardcore. That bassline does make it. Bit much for me right now though.

PINKWIND
'In June 1970 at the Bath Festival (although not actually playing inside the festival), Hawkwind bumped into The Pink Fairies, a similar minded group of people playing a not too dissimilar kind of music and who were also based around the Notting Hill area. It wasn't long before the two bands were playing regularly together and finishing a nights entertainment with an almighty jam on stage featuring both bands under the moniker of Pinkwind.'

Shame they didn't hook up...
...with the Pasadenas and form "Passwind" instead.

Quannum Spectrum
Not a single duff track on it. One of the best records Mo' Wax put out, and they released loads of great stuff. I still collect their vinyl, I was obsessed with their output back in the day.

Neil Young is not hippy rubbish
He told the real hippy rubbish - Crosby, Stills and Nash - to fuck right off.

In fact
I think it's time to listen to On the beach once again. Nothing's satisfying me this evening but I think that album might hit the spot.

I got badly hurt at Sick of it All live
Bust nose, few cracked ribs, about 80% bodily bruising. I was very, very drunk and the mosh was very, very violent.

worst moshpit I ever saw was PWEI & Coventry uni, was about a 50/50 split between townies and students

Hehe, I imagine that was fun.
I never ever heard PWEI. How bad's that?
