I'm considering buying an mp3 album from play.com.
Any idea what kind of restrictions they place on mp3s? I'm sick of iTunes, and besides, they're three quid more expensive.

If you have no interest, is there a song (or, okay, an album) you could listen to on a loop all night?

Songs for the deaf.
And The Colour and the Shape

(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 15:39, archived)
well if they're mp3's they're inherently drm-free
but they might hide information relating to you in the id3 tags or something, but you can always take them out yourself.

bleep are my favourite mp3 retailer.

Ugh, tell me about it.
Housework is never-ending, I despise it. It feels like I finish making one room almost presentable, I go back into another room, it's a fucking tip all over again.

Why are you washing your walls?

I'm moving out soon
Letting agent is coming for a look around tomorrow morning and there are the remnants of 5 years of cooking crap around the stove.

It takes me less than half a day to clean my whole bloody house properly, then I clean the kitchen once a day and it takes 5 mins. The rest stays clean and tidy for about a week or two until I clean it again.

Mine's just acumulated gunk in areas that are hard to reach
I'm very tidy normally

or Sunset Mission by Bohren & Der Club of Gore
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 15:29, archived)
My favourite Jethro Tull track
is Witches Promise, but I also like Dun Ringill. Thick as a Brick is very good too.

yesterday I listened to a bit of Jethro and a hell of a lot of King Crimson.

I have been listening to FEAR OF THE DARK
by Iron Maiden.

Some bits of it (The track, not the album) are awesome, but other bits seem like they didnt really know what to do so just did some random instrument abuse.

Hmm.
The band I'm listening to at the moment, Om, have released three albums, and all the songs sound very, very similar. I think I could listen to them for a long time without either realising or caring that it's on loop. You get into the groove and it just keeps going for hours.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 15:32, archived)
the officer and a gentleman film soundtrack, or ghost, or annie, or any musical by andrew loydd webber and tim rice, or mel and kim
