Slim Jim's is good as well - though I resent the whole 'give us your bra for 3 free drinks' policy. I tried handing in my socks but they were having none of it.

since these corporations are not coughing up all that much compared to the taxpayer so the Limp Icks could be completely advert free and still run as efficiently as it probably will. Which isn't very.

Don't have the games here. Let some other country that isn't a second-rate basket case waste their money on the games.

LOCOG, if you're reading this, we all think you're wonderfully good eggs, and I would further point out that the picture above which may have you concerned clearly only superficially resembles the O******s logo. I would also point to precedent in the case of Samsung vs Apple, in which it was ruled that Samsung haven't violated Apple's patents because their 'tablet' computer is "less cool" than Apple's, and argue that since the aforementioned picture is significantly cooler than your logo, no transgressions have taken place.

One reason why topical compos can be a bit boring, because the subject has normally been done to death by the time the Image Challenge Vote comes up.

A waste of fucking money only of interest to the rich, poncey twats that supported the application. The same twats who think that selling off school sports grounds and destroying playing fields to build houses on is a "Good Thing"(tm).
We could have used that £10billion for something much more worthwhile, but then the money couldn't be siphoned off via tax havens to enrich the rich, poncey twats even more. e.g. selling off the "Olympic village" below cost. So much for a lasting legacy.
Letting junk food provenders sponsor the games? What? Are the athletes going to be sustained on fizzy pop and grease burgers? But I guess it's OK to promote obesity etc so long as you are raking it in. Hypocritical fuckers.
And football an Olympic sport? With the likes of Giggs playing? 1) Football is a shit game of which we have too much already. 2) Giggs et al should be barred from the games for being professionals.
Seriously. Fuck the games.
/rant.

The fact that the teams are made up of mostly people who could barely point out the city on a map before they play for them. Kissing the badge and then moving months later. The massive money market that is the transfer system, Russian oligarchs, US speculators etc. Ripping off people by changing the strip all the time so kids use pester power to extract more cash etc etc.

But this is the first time Great Britain has entered a team. This is why it appears like a new sport for the games. The media ignored it until we entered.

I think the Summer Olympics are such an Albatross around the necks of taxpayers across the world, that they should be held permanantly in one location and other nations should subsidise this. Somewhere not too wet but not too warm with a great infrastructure. Don't know where that is...
