TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME YOOU'RE PLAAAAYIN

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
And you know sometimes words have two meanings
In a tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forest will echo with laughter
And it makes me wonder
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May Queen
Yes there are two paths you can go by
but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on
Your head is humming and it won't go in case you don't know
The piper's calling you to join him
Dear lady can't you hear the wind blow and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

I'm glad they're keeping all this terror down to a reasonable level. It got so I couldn't walk the streets without wetting myself from the fears. Now I'm only mildly nervous.
Perhaps they could have more police for policing streets of a night so that the local yobs don't vandalise my car again, rather than looking in bins and behind small walls for those millions of terrorists they keep telling us exist.

and protect our right to continue our normal life by stopping us with an automatic weapon in hand and going thru our bags, that always makes me feel the terrorists aren't changing our rights to freedom does that one...
Name me one fucking time they ever found a bomb that way compared to the millions of peoples rights they walk all over everytime they do that.
Grrrrr!

The police and government usually hoot out with excitements over every small terror-related police activity. "The police have announced today that they have arrested a gang of terrorists. The gang, the members of which cannot be identified, age from eight to twelve years old, and were carrying out terrorist related activities in the playground of Wormington Junior school."

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

and as for your second point, this may well stir up controversy - ON THE INTERNETS!, by my opinion would be one of the following:
Connery era - Russia with Love or You Only Live Twice - the latter being my personal fave Connery/Bond flick
Moore Era - For Your Eyes Only
DO check out 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', as it is quite a good film, despite the general opinion out there of it.
but I'd suggest starting with 'The Living Daylights'.
