fucking cival servants trying to justify their existance again.

my little girl is 2 and i've tried her with some curry, she doesn't like it as it's too stong a flavor for her at the moment, i myself detested curry until my mid twenties, now i love the stuff, it doesn't mean that i was a racist beforehand.

seems to me like £12million of public money being wasted again.

"does it by jove? we'll smother that bit of anti-racism with a story that focuses on one rather silly aspect of the report"
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:01, archived)
# I was going to say that, as if nursery staff need 12 million pounds to be convinced to buy different types of food.
Or maybe it's because foreign food is made from gold dust and parts of Lord Lucan.

Also since when has curry or spicy food ever been identified as a foreign or something which racists refuse to eat...
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:07, archived)
# Oi I watched four episodes of that Cowboy Bebop.
It was really really good. I'm downloading loads of episodes now.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:10, archived)
# YOU DOUBTED ME?!
I should kill you just for that.

I don't know which episodes you saw, but it shouldn't matter if you see a few middle ones providing it wasn't any of the ones with background stories in because that would get confusing if watched in the wrong order.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:14, archived)
# is it as good as FMA?
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:15, archived)
# Quicker, better, stronger, doesn't have fucking awful ending which ruins the entire preceding story and series.
God the ending to FMA was awful, apparantly they wouldn't let them used the planned ending for the manga (which is still going to my memory) so they used one which ruined all the darkness and evil.

Full Metal Alchemist is alright for anime. But Cowboy Bebop is actually brilliant, not just for anime but as a television series.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:19, archived)
# i've still not seen the end of fma
i stopped about 3 episodes before the end for some reason...

i'll give cowboy be-bop a go when i finally finish downloading dawn of war. its taking a fucking age.

# One was entirely on the ship
and something was going about biting everyone and it turned out it was something from a fridge. Another one had some bloke in it that turned out to be a woman and they were chasing someone called Vicious. I think they were backstory ones but I enjoyed them.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 13:17, archived)
# Ahhh yes, Jupiter Jazz. That is one of the two parters, of which there are only two.
That's actually one of the first Spike story episodes to my memory, but you really need to see the start bit of the first episode and the various allusions to his previous life to understand it fully.

Also if you don't want to download the episodes there is a less hi-res alternative they are on youtube, and there was another streaming option but I think it's currently knackered.

# welcome new person,
hope you enjoy it here. just a couple of things to note:
Animations tend to get frowned upon if they go over 250k here. It's a reasonable guideline to try and achieve, and if you have difficulty in optimizing it, let us know what program you're using, and one of us will more than likely be able to help.
'Spack' images have been done to death, and some people can have bad reactions to them on /board. If in doubt, link the image with a note saying 'warning! spack ahead', or some such :)

welcome aboard

edit: and cheers for that :)
