the twitter compo has unleashed some of the least inspired turd I have ever seen on b3ta, (pick random celebrity, of increasing obscurity, add nonsense into 140 characters),
thus proving my theory that anything related to twitter eventually sinks to zero
present entry exluded fresh *clicks*

....I tried to watch it, but in my semi-drunken state (at the time) my brain couldn't handle the "vectorization" of it.
Although it was a good artistic idea, I thought it was un-necessary.
Edit:- ......That's why i could only watch 15 minutes of it before
switching it off.

Some people go to a music festival and see a bunch of bloody hippies, off their heads on drugs. Some people go to the same music festival and see cool groovers having a great time.

in the middle of a city, then explain to the garden centre types why there are a load of hippies/groovers (depending on perspective) standing on the common outside their backgarden.

... looks good.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do for Festivals this year - not going to be in the country while Glaso is on and my mate that I was going to go to the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival with is going to be a dad for the first time like 2 weeks before it's on... so he's not likely to want to make his ears bleed from techno
is b3ta big in Dublin? Any dirty dubbers on the board?

but I'm slightly worried that a) it's a world music festival and b) it'll turn out to be a full moon party or something like that.
tbh - I think I'm going to try and get to DEAF anyway - even if I only go for one night and end up trudging the streets of Dublin until I can get a flight back in the morning... if it's anything like last year it'd be worth it.

wherein I am in a plane that is crashing and have to parashute out, only to land in the midst of a never ending full moon party, surrounded by grinning dayglo trustafarians all spacked on acid and stomping dustily away to incredibly monontonous psytrance.

but the mundane entries have been extra-specially dull. i think saving us from mundane is what makes a good challenge- i loved the retro game one because even the mundane entries were pleasingly nostalgic. i think also that's why lolcats works: even if the joke's shit, you still have a cute kitten picture to look at
