Manchester Bash

Well, this is to mark one year (and a bit) since the Epic Manc Bash, where BGB famously was walked back to her hotel, where she managed to repaint the bathroom a stunning shade of red (wine).

With any luck, this will also be the weekend where we are joined by Poppet, so fuck it, it's time for a bash!

Also, the option is yours, Salisbury or Northern Quarter?

Well, it might be just about right.

IT'S ALL GONE WRONG!

The Crown and Anchor has been redecorated - hideously! It's all gone mood lighting and tacky wallpaper. To say nothing of the ghastly plaster friezes under the bar. Crappy camera pics for evidence.

And let's have a close-up on that wallpaper shall we?

Might want to think of alternative venues - can't see this being b3ta's scene at all...

am i wrong?

i thought at some point, when we're doing an outing near oxford rd (but not the salisbury) rather than a northern quarter one, we could start in font. Â£2/Â£3 cocktails and decent atmosphere. you do have to get in early, though. queues get silly later

but i think your waldorf suggestion's better for this one, as it's nearby. could even make a sortie across to the c&a and check out the tasteful wallpaper
