Jadeviper's 30th Birthday bash

Come (to Edinburgh) and cheer me up as I get dragged kicking and screaming out of my 20s.

[edit] possibly at the Holyrood... if I like it now it's gone back to the old owner... and if they'll let us bring food....

[edit2] Holyrood now booked, we'll be making a buffet, and I'm working on giant Jaffa Cakes in lieu of a birthday cake.

If someone can explain value advance fares on virgin trains. Apparently I can get a ticket there from Brum for just 11 pounds. I must be reading it wrong or missing something.

You have to get on the train on your ticket

it's not valid for any other,if the train you were going to go on gets cancelled you may be in trouble, virgin are bad for being a bit strict about such things

EDIT: depending on what Mr bunny is up too and my job situation I may be able to come and therefore will be looking for as many new internet weirdos to talk to as possible

Any chance of floorspace for Saturday and Sunday night?

If so I might be able and would love to come. I can get a cheaper flight flying back on Monday evening and was planning on going up at some point to have a nose at the Uni anyway, so could do that during the day...
