I'm glad the driver of the truck she crashed into was unharmed.

recycling vehicles driven by 73 year olds can probably take on any amount of selfie-snappers before getting dented

Too young to die,
too stupid to live... but neither too young nor too stupid to vote.

Took me 2.5 hours to do a 30 minute drive this morning, due to the tube strike
And nearly every single driver behind me in the traffic was just pissing around with their mobile phones. There will be many more deaths like this becuse people are fucking morons.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
The many more deaths bit I mean. The more of these cretins that kill themselves, the better off the rest of the gene-pool will be.

I like this
well I clicked that bit in any case, to say that the link intrigued and interested me, what with having noted the prevalence of drivers of all ages and walks of life texting or calling just as they start to drive or have the slow boring trek through roundabouts and intersections before they get onto a section that is a bit more relaxing - and at this point the road should be safe enough to at least pop a selfie and read b3ta and listen to some popular music! What is this government doing to protect our rights and our freedom to express ourselves!?

Yes! A step in the right direction, but we need more!
I say let CCTV snap our selfies for us!

If you are too stupid to know you might die in a head on collision taking a selfie while driving you are too stupid to live.

I love how her friends have ratted on her
I'm sure her insurance company will be all like "oh rly? Small print 154.b acts of negligence are not covered"

I'm sure it would
At the hands of underwriters, every detail counts. I've even been screwed over because my doctor wrote PCP not BZP...
Even my doctor admitted the mistake too!

Given that families of murder victims end up with their insurance company
providing legal teams to murderers - to avoid paying life insurance... I imagine this kind of ratting out would make quite a bit of difference to her family. They probably have to pay for the medical treatment of the bin man, for the truck and for some highway repairs. Horrible.
