how about some sort of filter for /links
so I can see the links that aren't youtube videos?

we're not supposed to be watching videos here (most of them don't work anyway) but at the minute there's usually only one or two non-youtubes per page

I use the barensy mirror at work to use /talk... because www.b3ta.com is blocked

I can't use /board so much anymore because a lot of images are hosted on the fly on the www.b3ta.com domain (or www2.b3ta.com or whatever)...

anychance of making the image hrefs relative instead of absolute so i can see the images at work?

When a frontpaged image doesn't have a title
it doesn't show up in my rss feed. For example: mictoboy's 'Giant Iron'.

And another thing: I tried to donate via my bank account but it asks for the address and hometown of the beneficiary. (It's a Dutch bank)

Calendar integration with flickr
I think that (similar to the last.fm integration with flickr), there could be a link on each bash page to flickr pics tagged with a certain machine tag (ie b3ta:bash=5165) would link to all the pics from the recent Leeds bash. Users can then easily view pics from a certain bash, rather than them getting bunched together

Suggestion
Do you know what would be useful? A "Zoowatch" or "Nutswatch" section of B3TA. Like the Popular section, but specifically for images that have been ripped off by Zoo, Nuts, McDonalds etc.

Let's face it, some of us may wish to pursue these matters if our stuff has been pinched. I know this is a nebulous area if you've used public domain images as a source, but if you've used your own art or photos you may have a case...

Ever since I went to FF2
The nav keys don't work. Any ideas why? (Highlight posts is set to "yes")

Edit : I have been GAZed by Kamikaze Stoat (cheers!) who has supplied an answer to this:

They changed the key combination for Firefox 2.

Type in the address field "about:config" and find the entry called ui.key.contentAccess. Double-click it and change the number to 4.

You may need to restart FF - I did.

Whatever, I'm sure people can come up with better categories than me. when looking for links you can choose to order them by category.

To further morrybyte's suggestion below: A 'best of' for threads of the week section either in the newsletter or on the front page
More for /board or /talk, there could be a summary of some of the funniest/most interesting threads, or maybe not even threads but insanities/themes that sometimes get picked up on by the boards and run with. Hilarity can often occur
that wouldn't get seen by just frontpage or newsletter readers.
