It's the late edition of OT's workday
tell me what you achieved today, you sweaty interweirdos.

Alt: Wednesday night plans? midweek drinking numbs the pain.

I got tonight's dinner out of the freezer.
That's about it, really.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
What is it?
(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 17:10, Reply)
It's a bolognese sauce I made last week
that's going to be turned into lasagne.

I know how to fucking party, me.
(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 17:12, Reply)
I haven't had lasagne in fucking ages.

nakers top tip: add a little nutmeg to the bechamel sauce

The missus always does.

(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 17:21, Reply)
It's a good tip
although I'll politely point out that nutmeg is pretty much one of the main ingredients of bechamel sauce. If you leave it out then what you have is white sauce. With, possibly, some essence of onion and carrot if you've made it "hardcore style"

Fair comment, but i believe this has passed many people by!

The ability to breath nasally seems to have passed a lot of people by as well.

Both, probably.
She does keep remembering every now and again, but then promptly forgets again.

It's been hard going but I got Scarpe to delete his twitter page, or I can't find it now anyways

Tonight involved, bike maintenance and a DVD, it's a quiet week.

Alternatively I might put off that thrill ride til tomorrow and have a drink or 2 instead.

Yeah', sure when your leg can't stop shaking because the anxiety is about to drive you around the bend, how can you expect her to be anything _but_ annoying when everything including time itself is annoying you? And when she won't stop talking on and on and on and on about some crap or another, or even worst, the silance, oh god, that's just as bad, why isn't she speaking to me? And how you don't mean to be a monster, but it's 8:45 and the phamacy doesn't open 'till 9:15 and there is always some fucking rep or some fucking old granny distracting the phamaciest there from filling out that 'script.

They really made a huge difference to my state of mind.
If you don't want to take pills, try one of those daylight SAD lamps, and getting excercise. As weird as it sounds, excercise does make you feel better. It releases seratonin or something.

I'm on so many pills, including head ones, that I think it would be a bad idea to introduce new ones.
I found an awesome flat today, high barnet, near the shops, 2 bed, quiet coledesack (or whatever they're called), ensuite bathroom to the main room, everything done up nicely. It's above budget, but within possiblity, so I donno about getting new stuff like a new bed and furniture and stuff.

Thinking about not getting a flatmate in, and using the second room as an office.

The wedding was pretty much perfect. Everything went brilliantly, the food wad excellent and all the important people had a blast. Honeymoon has been great. Lots of good food, surfing and spent the last few days in a luxury spa, mostly in the pool or steam room.

I mentioned it because my yahoo feed had a story about a surfer being killed by a shark today.

Excellent.
Weddings are fab. I thoroughly enjoyed ours. So did all our guests, which was a bonus.

i couldn't believe how calm i was on the morning
I think it was because I didn't have anyone at the house with me, which allowed me to watch Jaws.

I love Jaws.
An example of when the film is far better than the book.

The most interesting thing I did today
Was to discuss if it is a good idea to dye your pubes the same colour as your hair.
(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 18:55, Reply)
is it?

(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 18:59, Reply)
Why not just dye your hair the same colour as your pubes?

(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 19:00, Reply)
that seems like a lot of effort
to make my hair a slightly less nice colour
