Does anyone
actually prefer blondes?

alt: what colour would be the best colour hair to have. I reckon deep red.

alt alt: get on with typing shit, fools
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 18:58, 223 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
Can't say I'm that fussy. Any hair colour is fine. Pulse, optional.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:00, Reply)
Not being fussy makes the world your bivalve.
Bisexuals have it so much better.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:01, Reply)
bisexual bivalves
have all the luck
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:02, Reply)
Nah, they're just greedy. They want their cake and fuck it.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:02, Reply)
Like in that film, American Beauty.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:03, Reply)
Can't stand that film

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:09, Reply)
You are dead to me.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:11, Reply)
I just find it hugely pretentious

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:13, Reply)
I wouldn't expect you to get the finer nuances.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:17, Reply)
Not I.
Brunettes all the way, although if a blonde came along with many of the qualities I like in a lady then I'd probably wobble.
Alt: Black, like my heart.
Alt alt: Does anyone else get like yellowy-greeny clouds across their vision when they're tired and falling asleep? What about when you press your eyeballs gently, does anyone else get cool patterns?
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:01, Reply)
cool patterns, yes
the other thing is just freaky and wrong and probably means you have diseases
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:03, Reply)
Oh ok, one of my life's questions answered.
I have, forever, had yellow-green morphing clouds across my vision when falling asleep, particularly if I'm really tired.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:05, Reply)
i just get lots of
synaesthetic stuff going on when I'm tired and make even less sense than normal
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:10, Reply)
I just get lots of "ARGH WHY AREN'T YOU WORRYING ABOUT THIS" shit when I'm trying to fall asleep so I listen to audiobooks.
I've just finished "Snuff" by Terry Pratchett and started "I, Partridge" by Alan Partridge. The latter had me giggling all the way to sleep last night.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:12, Reply)
I seriously need to read "Snuff", I fucking love Pratchett

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:13, Reply)
It's nothing hugely new or revolutionary
but it's a good romp, it had me smirking in many places.
Edit: torrents.thepiratebay.org/6746704/Terry_Pratchett_-_Snuff.6746704.TPB.torrent
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:14, Reply)
Sorry fella, I really do appreciate it, but I'm not a fan of audiobooks, I love to read

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:16, Reply)
I've gone the other way.
I listen to books when I'm falling asleep, gives me twenty or so minutes of headspace every day. My therapist calls it "distraction" but what does she know?
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:18, Reply)
I can imagine them being fantastically relaxing
However, I'm a speed reader, so anything that doesn't keep up to the pace of how I know I would read, I find a bit aggravating.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:19, Reply)
That it is, it's like being a young boy again.
Sometimes, while the voice is reading something to me, I like to tuck my cock and balls between my legs and pretend they're reading it to a little girl.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:21, Reply)
I just laughed like a fucking idiot at this.
Thanks Noel.

I, on the other hand, like to go to sleep listening to stuff.
cheers fella.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:19, Reply)
Christ, if you want any more and have a large memory stick or card you'd like filling up, gaz me and I'll sort you out.
I'm working on 15gb of audiobooks at the moment.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:20, Reply)
Fucking hell, that's a lot of books

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:21, Reply)
It sure is, a whole bunch of short stories too which I never seem to finish because I fall asleep.
Although falling asleep to wild Clarke concepts has led to some wonderful dreams. I set the Off timer at two hours and let my brain be fed science fiction during the first hour or so of my slumber, it's pretty wonderful.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:25, Reply)
Will Gaz.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:24, Reply)
I prefer brunettes in theory
but I've had at least 2 serious relationships with blondes. Ginger remains the undiscovered country, so it's kind of alluring.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:01, Reply)
I've had short relationships with two redheads.
Both of them were wonderful people, but then most of my relationships have been as such, the jammy fuck I am.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:02, Reply)
I don't think I've had a relationship with anyone I wouldn't describe as at least a good an special person.
Even is some most of them were fruitloop.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:06, Reply)
I had one relationship with a massive fucking mentalist who's managed to go on to prove herself to be a massive fucking mentalist.
At the time I thought everyone thought I was mad, but I hoped I'd be redeemed in the end. I've since had strangers come up to me in the street saying "Oh that kid is so much better off with you!" so I feel all smug and shit.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:08, Reply)
I have been congratulated
for leaving my ex-husband so very many times. I'm not sure anyone actually liked him

I actually prefer brunettes, in all honesty.
Alt alt: Alright, I'm typing on here, a bit pissed, whilst watching the new episode of House. Also, I just finished an episode of Castle, and the new episode of Bones is downloading. I love that all the series I enjoy all launch at the same time.

I'm watching Thor, it's pretty ace.
Plus Natalie Portman, jesus will she ever look shit?
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:08, Reply)
I don't think so, I do rather fancy her
Thor is on my list of things to watch, but it's not near the top. I think I'm only watching it so I can geek out massively when The Avengers is released.

The Pizza guy just had top tell me what my phone number is.
I think I may be blonde /tenuous shoehorn.

I do have a thing for gingers for some strange reason.

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:24, Reply)
God, likewise.
I see them on the street and I just want to go over and hug them.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:28, Reply)
I think with me it's more well they won't have much luck with the women so I'm in there.

Hahaha
I like your thinking. For me, they just look pretty.

My hair was almost white. Cursed old age.

Actually I remember seeing the pics.
There are exceptions to every rule.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:28, Reply)
Don't really have a type.
My ex had long blonde, naturally curly hair (although it was orange and straight when we met). The missus has short, dark hair.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:21, Reply)
brunettes.
And American Beauty is nowhere near as clever as Sam Mendes thinks it is. Ditto The Matrix and any autistic sci fi bellend.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:24, Reply)
Bollocks, The Matrix moved fucking mountains in cinema and still echoes across entire genres of film.
Its sequels were tosh but that movie is utterly, utterly seminal.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:29, Reply)
Seminal maybe
but not that good, I love sci fi in books but films are rarely that good.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:33, Reply)
The story itself is cliché
but the cinematography is something else. The special effects, the interpersonal exchanges, the whole concept of bringing that comic-book feel to the big screen, it was a game-changer. My friends and I have a game: when you see something in a modern film that was influenced by/directly from The Matrix, we drink a drink. You'd be amazed how much modern movies have been influenced by the memes and themes developed in that film.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 19:36, Reply)
Point.
But, buy as sci fi, it still blows.

Wearing nothing but tights and a blacked up face (half my costume before anyone says anything). We regularly dance like morons to shit music on the landing and see how long we can go for without saying a word to each other or laughing, it's far less funny than I think it is. Did about seven minutes tonight, solid effort.

I've no kids so I'm not downloading porn for them - can't be that then

(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 20:16, Reply)
If we thought it was anything other than shit, gay and sad we wouldn't do it.
We're anti-students, and I can't put into words how much I wish every other student on the planet was dead. Basically if there was a civil war between normal folk and students, our house would be on the front line hitting Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch wearing knobheads in the face with blunt objects. I'd say almost everything we do on student nights out isn't serious. And when we want to go out properly we'll go to normal bars and clubs. We're a classy bunch.

Oh and I hate dressing up but it's a mate's birthday and I've had my arm twisted. Plus blacking up is always a laugh.

I got a bit confused seeing young bucks in Hollister CA stuff initially
Hollister is a small town near San Bernadino where the very earliest (1949) Hells Angels riot happened. "The Wild Ones" - with Marlon Brando - is based on it.

I also got confused seeing Chavettes with Pauls Boutique garb - a resurgence of appreciation of the best Beastie Boys album?

No - it's chavs tripping over the guy ropes of my references.

but loud noises just freak him the fuck out. The worst one is if I open the door to let out at night and one goes off right at that second. It happened last year, and he refused to go out to pee. i had to get up to let him out about two in the morning.

It's a bit strange, this
They're at Mummy's house tonight so I don't have to cope with it, but Brown is absolutely fearless and the hardest dog in the world until fireworks happen. Then he's terrified.

Boots is a bit deaf and it doesn't seem to worry him.

No preference, the face is a more important determinant.
My hair is very dark brown but I'd prefer to have no hair at all. I keep it short because it's only ever a source of irritation; you just can't do anything with it, and it looks like a toupee if it's grown.
(, Fri 4 Nov 2011, 20:21, Reply)
I don't think you'd prefer to have no hair at all.
I shaved my full beard off a couple of years ago, on 20th December. I have never, ever been so fundamentally cold as I was for the four weeks until my beard grew back.

By "short" I mean grade 1 or 2.
And it's on the way out anyway.
