yes, this is the only explanation
I'm sure the experience was great but U2 and muse are dull IMO. I saw U2's set on telly, they ruined Stay.

I went in 2003
Saw Primal Scream, Squarepusher, 2 Many DJs, Dave Gahan, De La Soul, Mogwai.

I thought 2003 was shite, TBH

(, Fri 19 Oct 2012, 15:42, Reply)
The lineup was good, the Glade in particular
Missed Aphex Twin DJing though. Squarepusher was tremendous. Mogwai were on at totally the wrong time, they should play tents in the dark but they played the main stage in the afternoon. On the plus side, they played Helicon 1.

But the research/planning was always more important to me than the tactical view.

It's a bit console-y, but that's to be expected.
It has its issues and the fans of the original are pretty divided on it, but all the essential elements of the first game are there. You still hate it when you get a guy killed.

Everyone else has gone for festivals
So I'll go for the first ATP I went to in 2002 - an eye-openingly fantastic line-up, most of which I hadn't heard of before; plus a constant diet of beer and weed from breakfast til bedtime and lols a plenty providing in-jokes which we milked for years afterwards.
Either that or the weekend last September when Mrs upinblue left me home alone - much the same as above, but with wanking in place of the bands.

Akalata Bnatukwi - Malawian spiritual nose trombonist
AxE sKanK PustUle - Late 80s punk/jazz group reforming to play the entirity of their "lost" third album for the first time ever.

Subsistence allowance

Parliament pays this flat-rate allowance of EUR 304 for each day of attendance at official meetings of the Parliament bodies on which the Member serves that are held within the European Community. It covers accommodation, meals and all other expenses involved in such attendance. Parliament pays the allowance only if the Member has signed an official attendance register.

During plenary sessions, Parliament reduces this amount by one half for Members who have not taken part in one half of the roll-call votes held on the Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of part-sessions held in Strasbourg and on the second day of part-sessions held in Brussels.

Parliament pays a sum of EUR 152 per day, plus accommodation and breakfast expenses, for attendance at meetings held outside the European Community, again provided that the Member has signed the official attendance register for the meeting.

A good weekend was Universe's Wasted Weekender back in the early 90's
spent a Friday night at Club UK in London, got on a coach to Germany afterwards, bumbled round Frankfurt for a bit & went to notorious techno trance club The Omen until midday Sunday, got a coach back to London, carried on at a mates in Shepherd Bush, fell asleep somewhere around half past Monday.
Got filmed and interviewed for some programme on channel 4 on a ferry whilst off my tits and pissed on Sven Vaths shoes.

it took me 2 and a half hours to get home today, missed the hollyoaks and all.
And I picked up a chinese right, 'cus I aint' had a chinese since I got new-sick, and they got the order wrong and its a bit rank and its a different one to where I normally go and it wern't cheap eaither, and I feel I'm wasting my turn on the chinese and I ain't risking a take-away 'cus the roads are so bad. And I'm in my pants now so I'm not going to the shops.

And my fridge and freezer and oven goes to the battered women tomo, my kitchen gets ripped out on monday, and on tuesday the new kitchen gets delivered. AND THIS IS THE WORST BIT, my kitchen installer bailed out on me today, "bad back, but I can do it in december".... you know, like, before the "Can not cancel delivery" date or whatever. As if I'm gonna be without a kitchen for that long. Think we've found someone else now though.

But worst of all this chinese is rank.

Order pizza
there is no situation so bad that Pizza can't ameliorate the distress.
(, Fri 19 Oct 2012, 20:54, Reply)
I can only order pizza from locations north of me, pizza to the south would never make it.
And I don't get pizza sometimes, rarely get change out of £20 (for pizza, side, desert) and it takes forever to decide. I get some proper mental shizniss when it comes to ordering pizza. I make my own wicked ones, but that would require the use of clothing beyond pants and socks.

I specialised in Postmodernism/American fiction.
I'll go back and do a masters on Blank Generation fiction when I can afford it.

And I constantly have at least two books on the go, so lolling at the 'for those who read a lot' comment. There's a fairly big difference between reading SF and Fantasy and reading literary fiction.

Can't be that good if he disdains genre novels simply for their genre
smells like a third to me.

nope.
High 2.1.

I find the term 'genre novels' really funny by the way.

I have no real beef with SF as a genre; I like William Gibson and I love JG Ballard. But the whole epic novels thing is just really fucking childish. I'm posting from my phone so don't really fancy outlining my critical objections to 'genre novels', but I very much do know what I'm talking about.

If you want to believe you're literate
I won't argue. Despite your clear demonstration otherwise.
