So tired
Nightmares, coughing fits, dreams about my calamitous ex and finally insomnia at 3am.
However, I'm still in a relatively good mood, I have coffee, and I'm off tomorrow.
What keeps you wading through the shit?

Coffee. Just coffee.
and food. I break up my day into manageable chunks by having coffee and food breaks. Next one is 9am.

My brother is doing a new diet
and I'm on it now. His girfriend's mother lost 20kg and he's lost 7kg in 7 weeks (without doing it properly at the weekends). Basically, you can eat as much as you want, but only proteins, for 5 days. After that, 1 day only proteins, 1 day proteins and vegetables. No fat, no carbs and at least 20min walk every day. For each small glass of wine you have to walk 20min.
I started yesterday, I'll tell you on Monday how it went.

No, you're not right
You can eat as much fish and seafood as you want (in fact, that's what I'm eating these days). You can have dairy products (fat free ones) and you can eat eggs. That's for 5 days, after that you mix fish and vegetables.

Yesterday I was so tired that I fall asleep on the train. The stop before mine I woke up and thought: "oh, still here; good. I can close my eyes again and when the train starts moving I'll get up" Next thing I know is the conductor is waking me up from outside the train, knocking on the window, just before the train closed the doors on it's way to Llandudno. There is a shop where they do handmade natural soaps. We're buying them there and my mother is making little bags to put them in. They told us they prefer to deliver them, but I rather go and pick them myself, so we're waiting for them to say if it's ok.

I found something I liked similar to what I said I wanted. Then I tried this one, and it looks so good on me (or so I think) and it's quite original too.
At the begining I didn't want to buy it, as the other one I saw was only £250 and more or less what I had wanted always, but even my father insisted and said I would regret it if I had this other one on my head and didn't buy it. So there you are... All my principles are dead.

I'm very lucky, as my father works for people with quite a lot of money in Tenerife, but he doesn't like to charge them more than what it's necessary for him to live, so they always try to give him money when they see the opportunity. These clients are paying a good chunk of the wedding too, as well as letting us use their cars, houses, hotels for guests... I can't complain at all.

hopefully my mrs should be getting a payrise soon
which will help a lot.
The trouble we're having is that our car needs servicing, and a new cam belt, we've got a room to get plastered and paint etc. to buy, as well as trying to save as much as possible for the wedding.
We're lucky that we've got a really good photographer as a mate who will do that for free, and hopefully we should be able to get a good band on the cheap.
It's weddings costs on top of living costs that is proving difficult!
I'm quite annoyed with Mrs V's sister as well, don't care that she got engaged shortly after we did and is getting married sooner, but it's pissed me off that she is having her wedding on a fucking Thursday.

that is the one of the reasons why Mrs V's sister is getting married on a Thursday. Also they are only having about 40 guests, so their chosen venue wouldn't actually let them do it at the weekend, because they could make more money from a bigger wedding.

yeah that's what I've been doing so far!
She will start to hold the others back though because she refuses to do moves that are a bit difficult, painful or scary. We did a move last night where you climb up the pole, grip it with your legs and then lean right back so you're upside down, but she wouldn't take her hands off so she never even got horizontal, let alone vertical. She told one of the other girls that she would be happy to do it if there was a big strong bloke holding her up but because it's just me she doesn't feel safe. However, when she let go of the pole entirely a few weeks ago, I caught her and she didn't fall, so I don't know what her problem is.

yeah I really need to tell her off
I'm such a pussy though, I hate confrontation. I'm hoping to get another couple of classes soon so maybe I can bump her back down to the beginners, especially if she refuses to do the moves that the now intermediate girls are doing. That'll probably get rid of her.

Seriously?
Can't you throw her away from your class?
I've been thinking more and more about this pole class thing... when do you do it? Is it ok if I'm clumsy and fat? I just want to try and do some extra exercise.

That'd be so much fun!
Maybe I can ask the people at the banana plantation if they can put a pole on my room... although I'll probably break my leg just before the honeymoon, so I might pass.

He's already told me he's going to drink like never and enjoy his party properly, and dance until the early hours, so we might have to do the pole dancing the next day.

I'm the most clumsy person ever, I trip over when I'm standing still!
If you would like to come that would be really cool, I've got another couple of girls wanting to start a class but I need 4 people first, so if you joined I could start it up :)
How do Wednesday nights sound, 8-9pm? As I'm going away shortly for a week it would probably be better starting on Wed 23rd.

I know where it is, and it's quite handy. Any possibility for me to park the bike in a safe room? Otherwise I'll leave it on the street for the hour, it should be ok.

I think there's bike parking in the outdoor bit, I don't reckon you'd be able to get it into the bar.

At the end she started criticising one of the other girls who's actually the best one
she kept saying "you put your foot down then" and "you didn't hook your leg around properly".
I'm such a pussy, I just never dare say anything, but I'm the teacher so I should be telling her off for being rude and arguing with me.

What the Fuck Vipros,
RJD has been dead only a few months and you've already forgotten him in favour of The Rock?
The correct question should always be WWRJDD(ihwsa)*
*(if he was still alive)

whenever anyone writes RJD I always think "ooh Robert Downey Junior"
and then I realise it's the wrong way around and I'm disappointed. Yes, that's right, disappointed.

and I knew Kitty would be more susceptible to suggestions of violence if the Rock were involved.

ha, her one friend that she brought with her now doesn't like her anymore
because she's so irritating. The problem is all our blokes are friends so they expect us to have corresponding girly nights whenever they want to play poker. I'd rather play poker, I'm not a bloody WAG.
I think I need to start telling her off when she does things that are rude, like reading the paper.

Poker beats wag nights. If you are uncomfortable with the confrontation try doing it in a really matey way. Say you're worried she isn't get the most out of it and it upsets you to see her bored sat reading the paper.

Can't stop long, but I'll say this
It's time for the "Look, Helen, this isn't working out. You've tried and it's not happening. No big deal. Other kinds of exercise and dance are out there. This IS really difficult and you don't seem happy. Also, my classes aren't just about turning up and doing pole when it's your turn. It's about participating and it's about your outlook. The way you feel, well I'm concerned it's having an effect on the rest of the class. I'd prefer it if you either joined in, or faced your feelings and stopped coming."

that's a good bit about participating, I never thought of saying that to her.
I'm going to a party on Saturday night and she'll be there, maybe I can try and have a quiet word with her away from the rest of the group. I worry that I'll make her feel bad if she thinks I'm kicking her out for being rubbish, but she doesn't give a shit about my feelings in all this so I'll try and be brave, thanks Aunty Roota!

Also there's a Mafia 2 stall set up in town where you can play the new game but more importantly get a free wet shave, which I'm having later. I like to think it's there epecially for me.

but it did mean I got to hear the guy strolling down my street, drunk as a motherfucker, basically challenging the whole of Exeter to a fight, and bemoaning that no one would come out and fight him.
By the sound of it he was a Plymouth Argyle fan (shouting Green Army like a wanker) and was shouting at the top of his voice, very angrily, that if this were Torquay people would be out with knives, if it were Plymouth it'd be baseball bats, but that Exeter was bollocks because no one would come out and fight him.

I was out in plymouth a few years ago and started walking up North Hill from the Roundabout, my mate was in his bristol city shirt as he is a bit of a tosser and we had to walk through a couple of coach loads of Plymouth fans who had just got back from an away game. Pretty sketchy 30 seconds really, lot's of drunk janners giving us abuse and shoulder barging.
